GOOD MORNING

Just when you think things are back to normal, you’re looking at the clock, thinking thirty more minutes of sleep won’t hurt anything, and… BAM! Incoming text message…

Naomi: “I’m texting Jasmine next if you say ‘yes’. I need a couple of shots. Can you do them? This is a need-it-yesterday job. You busy today?”

Me: “I guess I am now.”

Stick around, gang! Let’s see what sort of craziness this leads to.

Check back later—I’ll give you a midday update.

IT’S A PROCESS

I’m in the AGI/SwimFit office. I’m editing some articles and getting ready for a quick photo session later.

The crux of the issue is a missed outfit from a big job one of Naomi’s clients had in Miami. The job was a reshoot for the web catalog, and they left out an outfit.

Naomi offered to solve the problem with us—she’s calling us her rapid response team, like we’re some hazmat company going in behind a chemical spill.

Jasmine said, “For what she’s paying us, she can call us whatever she wants.”

She’s not wrong.

Right now, I’m on standby as Jasmine makes a run to the mall to find the skirt and top that were overlooked. I’m also waiting on a callback from Kaylee, who we’re thinking is the perfect model for this one.

I have to confess… Things like this excite me in a good way. I feel like I’ve edited more this morning amid this tension than I would have if I’d been sipping coffee, sitting on the sofa barefoot!

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR by Jasmine Banks

Today, I’m banking a fat fee for being a production coordinator. That means I had to call my friend, Kaylee, then come to the mall.

Ailana already posted about the job Naomi has for us today. It’s a set of shots for one outfit that was accidentally omitted from a big catalog shoot someone else did. AGI to the rescue!

“Buy it and add the cost to the bill,” Naomi said.

And Kaylee gets to keep it! I think the skirt will be in her normal rotation. Not sure about the top! You’ll see it later…

That is, if I get back in time!

This job is bank, people. Take it from someone whose name is Banks!

Time in this job already? Ailana got a text and answered. I got a text, then a call. Let’s total that at ten minutes.

Ailana and I talked. Ten more minutes.

I got notes about the outfit from Naomi with recommended stores to look in. I called Kaylee and got her sizes. Ten more minutes?

I should round-trip this shopping thing in less than two hours.

Ailana says the actual photography part will take maybe an hour.

Everyone’s getting base pay for a day of work—a production coordinator, a photographer, and a model.

Mic drop…

GOOD NIGHT

Call it a job well done. About thirteen hours ago, I received a text from Naomi Prior. About an hour ago, we started shooting images to deliver to her.

Jasmine jumped in and got the outfit. Kaylee showed up at the office early enough that all of us could grab a light dinner before going out for the shoot.

We’re going to celebrate with desserts at Denny’s because—why not?

Between that text this morning and something with chocolate on it coming up in a few minutes were a series of events that tells me we’ve figured out how to do these last-minute jobs.

When I think about the models we’re working with, I feel like we’re in a good position for any request that comes up.

Tonight, Kaylee nailed the look and vibe—she didn’t seem nervous, despite knowing how much Naomi’s client needed this. Jasmine put the details together like she’s been doing this for ages. And the camera felt perfect in my hand.

Jason came to offer ideas and be supportive. And maybe for the Denny’s run, too!

But it all worked out. It all came together according to a plan we threw together over the course of a few minutes. Literally, my coffee was still too hot to sip when we had the plan in place.

I’m going to make another claim. Kaylee and Jasmine walked away with more than a big check. Today yielded another instance of success and a little more experience. Call it a confidence boost…

As for me? I feel a little more grown up. A little more like Josh’s declaration that I’m the voice of experience might actually be right. Call that a confidence boost, too…

Let me wrap up.

May you find challenges that, when you overcome them, teach you more about just how good you are and how much you can accomplish.

Good night.

Be your best you!

Message to Paying Supporters:

Thank you for helping support AGI Stories.

I always consider you—the paid members—when deciding how content is shared.

I believe that most of you who help with the costs do so because you want to support the production process and show encouragement. I’m honored and truly grateful.

At the time of this post (not counting hardware or internet costs), expenses run just over $100 per month—so every supporter truly makes a difference.

Nevertheless, I share a lot of content free to all. I believe you understand why. Stories about giving back and helping shouldn’t be exclusive, and key moments need to be accessible for anyone following the stories.

My hope is that sharing a few exclusive photos and small portions of some posts with you serves as a simple expression of gratitude.

With that in mind, again, thank you very much.

IT’S A PROCESS. I love that Naomi is calling you her "rapid response team" Love it. It really is an emergency for her, though. And AGI really is her go-to now. Enjoy, but don't take it for granted. It took hard work to get this kind of respect and appreciation. Thanks for the update.

GOOD NIGHT. What do you mean, Josh might be right? He's right. You ARE the voice of experience. AND mentorship. Both Naomi and Izzy have remarked on this growth in other posts. That you are the team manager. And look how AGI is growing because of that skill. Job well done. Enjoy Denny's and have a goodnight. 🌟.
