Moving In

There have been a lot of moving parts in motion since Mason checked in a few weeks ago. We’re finally in the new Away—the team name for our quarters when we are not on active ops.

This one—we’re calling it Away 6—feels different. It’s more like a deep cover setup than a hideout.

We’re living in a high-rise apartment building—big enough that no one knows all of their neighbors. We also have an office to which we can easily walk.

The office is our cover. The sign on the door says that we are a software development company:

AGMA, LtdDesarrollo de software a medida

On paper, we’re an office of a British company that is owned by a German company that is owned by a company in Japan.

The office is small and cozy, but it has a nice break room and bathrooms. There’s a glass panel beside the door; anyone looking in would think we were writing code.

We’re actually scouring the internet, both indexed and not, tracking suspicious activity, and watching for actionable cartel intel. We’re monitoring open sources and intercepted chatter looking for anything we can turn into a mission.

We’re also learning Spanish. There might be some World of Warcraft play as well—we need to keep our toons viable in case we get separated and need that channel of communications again.

The Aunt Judy team did all of the setup work. We just had to show up and get ready to deploy on short notice.

Aunt Judy also includes an agent with a boat. It looks like some kind of offshore salvage vessel. It’s actually our storage facility and provides the first leg of transportation in cases when rapid deployment isn’t needed.

There’s a second leg I’ll mention next time. It looks like that’s coming into play pretty soon.

Message from AGI-Stories…

Okay, Secrets fans, the plan for weekly stories is still a thing. There have been some bumps, but I got this one in.

I think Aunt Judy is ready to get the team into the field! Let's go!

Message to Paying Supporters:

Thank you for helping support AGI Stories.

As of now, between donations here and Instagram monetization, about 75% of the software costs are covered. That's huge, and it is because of you.

I always consider you—the paid members—when deciding how content is shared.

Because of your generosity, I am able to keep going.

With that in mind, again, thank you very much.
