GOOD MORNING by Ailana Geven Keller
Well, here we are a week into July! Hard to believe summer is already moving this fast. Thank you for sharing it with me.
Today, the ladies and I are going to visit Naomi at her office. The main objective is to… you know… actually meet.
While we do that, the guys are golfing.
After lunch back here at the Ryan home, we’re going to do some of the classic Chicago tourist things we haven’t already done. I’ll check in from there and let you know how it goes!
In the meantime, I hope you have a great Wednesday morning. See you soon!

Message from AGI-Stories…
Since Thursday, I (the creator) have been dealing with having no Internet. Good news, it has been restored. (I had to change to providers—long story.)
Besides the hours of dealing with the companies and the install, everything went much slower!
All I managed for today was Ailana's Journal—5 chapters over 2 parts—and a SPECIAL REQUEST post.
Hoping for better productivity for Thursday's post. It's going to be a good one!

MEET AND GREET by Ailana Geven Keller
The AGI ladies and I are at Naomi Prior’s Chicago office.
On one hand, Naomi is officially our modeling agent. On the other hand, we are a creative content company that she contracts with.
In recent months, she’s positioned her agency as a place clients can turn for unmatched quality in a very short period of time. We’ve been calling it her “Needed It Yesterday” content service.
And AGI Creative has become her go-to company for delivering on her promises. In a real way, she’s become instrumental in helping our company become far more profitable.
We all think it’s a win-win arrangement. The plan is to continue and grow. We’ve had a few months to prove we can deliver, and Naomi hopes she can keep finding clients who need our work more often.
We are all in favor of that!
From here, we’re going back to the Ryan home for lunch, then we’ll get in some tourist things. See you soon.
IT HAS A REAL NAME by Ailana Geven Keller
San Francisco has the Golden Gate Bridge. London has Big Ben. New York City has the Statue of Liberty. Paris has the Eiffel Tower. Chicago? The Bean!
First of all, Big Ben is actually the bell in the tower… Though Big Ben is commonly used to refer to the entire structure, the clock tower itself was officially renamed the Elizabeth Tower in 2012.
And the Bean actually has a real name. The famous “Bean” sculpture in downtown Chicago is officially named Cloud Gate.
Google states that “It was created by artist Anish Kapoor. While its official name references its ability to reflect the sky and the city skyline, the public immediately nicknamed it "The Bean" due to its distinct, kidney-like shape.”
I’d like to take a second to thank one of the readers who suggested this group picture. I really enjoy it when you let me know what you’d like to see. Some of the great stops on Route 66 came from readers’ ideas.
As did Giganticus Headicus! Thanks for that one!
So, now, we’re going to stroll down Michigan Avenue, also known as the Magnificent Mile.
GOOD NIGHT by Ailana Geven Keller
We are back at the Ryan home for the night. We had a great day, but it was hot enough to call for a shower before bed. This is going to be my goodnight look.
I’ve said before, having Jason help with the pictures makes getting images suitable to post a lot easier! Moving on…
Tomorrow, Jason, Kel, Emily, and I are heading to Northwest Indiana. Also known as the east side of Chicagoland by some.
However, I think we’re going to venture beyond what most would consider the far reaches of Chicagoland. We’re going to hit Lowell in the morning, look around at a few things Emily wants to see firsthand, then have dinner at Denny’s.
Not just any Denny’s. The Denny’s where…
Several big moments in my life happened at the Denny’s in Hebron. It’s on Indiana Route 2 at I-65, just a little ways from Lowell, where Jason and I lived and went to high school.
Emily seems very excited by the idea. I’ll try to figure out what’s going on and let you know. I think it’s just her connecting to a part of my past that she read about before coming up with her plan to live with Jason and me.
That’s it for today. I’ll see you tomorrow, of course!
I’ll use my default blessing for tonight, since I have room for it all.
May you grow attentive to the world and the people within it—learning what matters, choosing what is good, and acting where you can. May you become more fully yourself, offering help when it is needed, caring for creation, and leaving each place better than you found it.
Good night.
Be your best you!

Thank you for helping support AGI Stories. I always consider you—the paid members—when deciding how content is shared.
As of now—early July, 2026—between donations here and Instagram monetization, about 70% of the software costs are covered. That's huge, and it is because of you.
Because of your generosity, I am able to keep going.
