PRE-SHOWER—Extra Content from 2026-08-24

Cindi stood in the bathroom looking like she had definitely earned the shower waiting behind her.

The garden cleanup had been hot, dirty work, but it needed to be done. She had pulled out the plants that were beyond saving, cleared away the remains, and accepted that this year’s garden was finished.

Now, sweaty and still streaked with dirt, she had traded her work clothes for a towel and grabbed the shampoo.

There was something satisfying about being this dirty when the dirt came from getting a job done.

A long shower would be next, followed by dinner. Then she planned to settle back in for another couple hours of work before calling it a night.

For the moment, though, work could wait.

Cindi desperately needed that shower.

Most SPECIAL REQUESTS are inspired by ideas readers have shared, often as variations of moments, images, conversations, or character reactions from previous posts. They may include additional images, expanded story context, extra scenes, or a closer look at how a character responds to something in the storyline. In some cases, they extend the core storyline, and if so, they are shared with all members.Overall, SPECIAL REQUESTS should feel both visually rewarding and narratively relevant.
