Welcome to the weekend! There’s a little buzz around Crossroads today.

First off, I’ve been up for a while. I work this afternoon and evening, but after breakfast, I actually went for a walk-jog just for exercise. I don’t know what I was thinking! Anyway…

Paul and Rebecca returned from Texas with news that the Alderwick computer systems Nick needed to bring Pay It Forward Society fully back into action are now back online. Nick came into town… with… ahem… a friend.

She is a sweetheart, for real, though.

We had a quick meeting a little while ago. He wants to run a mission—as Paul calls them—next weekend.

“We’ll keep this one simple,” he said. “There’s a church in the Bronx with some elderly members whose homes could use a coat of paint here and there.”

It’s a good project meant to remind people who see our posts that every community has people in need—and people who can step up to help.

On another subject, Conner and Olivia are a few steps down the path toward happily ever after! That’s my opinion, anyway.

And I’m betting on the math regarding Chloe and Aiden. Everyone else on the PIFS team is coupled up. What are the odds they won’t end up together? Throw their shared Iowa background and that lifeguarding class into the mix… It’s worth keeping an eye on this one!
