Chapter 3.1.71: BACK TO WORK by Hannah Madison

I actually tried hard to come up with a good title for this chapter. But this one fits best, coming off a weekend of volunteer work followed by the Labor Day holiday.

If you go back and skim some of my earlier “life is routine” chapters, this week, in general, looks pretty much like those did. Drafting table… Site visits… Meetings at the office…

I am making a sales call with Will Robertson this week on Thursday. I think—it’s not today, so I have time to double-check.

The big change for the week is this…

Remember ages ago when I said Merritt and I had joined a gym? We did that thing where you go five times, then say you’ll go again “soon.”

After this weekend, we both felt like the work was harder on us than it should have been, and we’re going to be sore for more days than we’d like. We agreed that we need to do more than just be gym members. We actually need to go.

That’s the plan for now. I’ll follow up and let you know how it goes.

And as my dear friend, Emma, says, thanks for reading my story.
