THERE WAS A PLAN—Extra Content from 2026-09-04

On September 6, a SPECIAL REQUEST explained:

The plan was simple. It would have been simpler if Ailana had the remote shutter release, but in principle, the self-timer would get the job done. Five seconds should have been enough time.

Somehow, the sheet didn’t get the memo.

Try one captured her back before she turned around. Try two was no better.

Readers wanted to know about that “Try two” image.

The problem: Remote shutter release left in Texas.

The plan: Use the camera’s self-timer. Run to the window. Pose.

The reality: If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Five seconds is a lot shorter when you’re running across a bedroom carrying a bedsheet.

Most SPECIAL REQUESTS are inspired by ideas readers have shared, often as variations of moments, images, conversations, or character reactions from previous posts. They may include additional images, expanded story context, extra scenes, or a closer look at how a character responds to something in the storyline. In some cases, they extend the core storyline, and if so, they are shared with all members.Overall, SPECIAL REQUESTS should feel both visually rewarding and narratively relevant.
