Heard rumors about this game is cursed to play, is it truly that scary?

Yes. Extremely disturbing and sad. Has an AI like chat GPT as the villain I think, but I can't confirm so don't quote me on that. But I've some pretty scary stuff from this game in the past.

Please remember that their just as many stories of other games doing similar stuff. Creepypastas I think their called, but yeah this game is pretty freaky. The person that I watched play this said that he kept receiving texts from one of the characters in there. Which is ironic is that the hidden premise of the game is that it's a game that becomes self aware and falls in love with the player.

Please understand that the AI of this game came out almost a decade before chat GPT came out, so it has nowhere near the capabilities. It is limited by the games premise, which is above. Did I mention that it's a dating simulator.

Another thing that makes it disturbing is that it has multiple characters that will eliminate each other over the course of the game to get with you. You will find the aftermath. This girl specifically, was bullied so badly that she made a noose in game. She thought of the player and thought better of it until one of the others ambushed her and hung her anyways you find her like that in her own home later.
