Tinkering with some post effects for the images I have been producing, in this comparison I have added some film grain effects and increased the image temperature slightly. I was hoping by doing it this way I will be able to add some extra details to the image preventing it to look too flat and bland. What do you think? (The effects are very minor so you may not notice the changes immediately, zooming in a bit and you will see the tiny grains)

Took a bit of looking but I can see it now.

I can tell youve used it sparingly, and I feel like its a good addition in these cases. It does a good job of making the contrast of the "shine" a little less jarring. Don't get me wrong some of your glossy photo sets are among my favorite. But (again) sparingly, it could definitely add immersion. I'd definitely say you should explore it further, maybe add it the "(extra)" sets in the beginning so IF somebody hates it, they aren't feeling like they are getting less. But ultimately, I defer to the artist, trust your instincts. We're going to lap it up regardless. Case in point, I would have to spend all day digging before I found a set that didnt land! Keep it up bubs!
