Poutine is one of those things that always looks disgusting to me but I know I'd love it 😂 loving the dog shirt by the way!

Quick, everyone is out, make a video while it is nice and quiet. Cue dog slurping loudly lol. Only in an A&N video, love it.

You can order cheese curds online in UK, I did it once but it wasn't cheap. I wasn't that impressed by my attempt at Poutine

Bhi, Alanna, I hope you're ok. Great video, I didn't think I'd like Poutine but it looked really good, it made me feel hungry. I'm very relieved Beaver Tails don't seem to include any beaver. Try and stay positive, we are all supporting you. Looking forward to your next video soon.

I had two bacon, avocado and tomato ketchup sandwiches for breakfast, so not far off 1000 calories. Hope you're having a lovely weekend. What's the weather like where you are now? It's been 33C in the UK, which is insane.

In the north of England a common night out food is chips, grated cheese and gravy (I know it's not the same, but our equivalent). Cheese curds are harder to fine. Can be found in some Polish stores much more readily. Sometimes in place of gravy you may have 'chip shop curry sauce' and a pork sausage. It's nice but ye', you need to eat it while it's warm/hot as the cheese cools and the chips get soggy. Well done for making your own gravy, I'd of used Bisto gravy granules. Lol.

All the ingredients for another classic Alanna cooking video. One starving dog, an elbow injury, a creature in a frying pan, half the cheese already eaten and forgets to record half of the process. And yet still a complete triumph. Never tried Poutine, so I'm going to try your recipe. Anything that begins with a ton of butter has to be good. Making us laugh with your videos means that we shall never need to scream into the void. 😊

Lots of people eat Cold Pizza for breakfast, so why not Poutine? Love to see you tackle Rice Krispies Treats...🇨🇦🍕

I had two day old Chinese food for my breakfast this morning 😅 A nutritious breakfast.

Nanaimo: the second syllable is accented and pronounced "nigh" as in night.

I'm also Canadian and not a huge fan of poutine. Smokes is alright, but my favourite is the spicy chicken poutine from Harvey's. The only other Canadian foods I can think of are peameal bacon, butter tarts (I think) and lobster rolls (out east, but I think that's generally an east coast American thing as well)

Fantastic shirt Alanna. Is it a Winston original?

David Brant

Ok here watching at midnight and now i want poutine. How dare you Alanna. How dare you. 😋😎 👀

Adventures and Naps

That's a great point! I don't really like butter tarts and I'm allergic to lobster, so not a lot of "Canadian" food for me lol Haven't been to Harvey's in forever, though! Maybe I should do that.

The food sounds wonderful! It's been around 30C here but thankfully we have AC inside so it's survivable. One thing I don't miss about England..

Quite often grated mozzarella, occasionally mild coloured cheddar or a mix of the two. But the cheese goes solid when it gets cold if you use a lot of cheese, why wouldn't you. Have you tried a kapsalon? It's cooked chips in an over proof dish with schwarma/kebab meat and cheese, cooked in an oven then topped with a little salad and garlic mayo and sweet chilli sauce. It's really goodhttps://youtu.be/ASlPfq9rpcU

Looks good. I have never seen Cheese Curds in the UK so would be interesting to see if you can get them. Good work though, looks like your changing your own mind on Poutine after that...🤔😎
