Because I'm a nerd I checked. Canadian whipping cream is the closest to American heavy cream. Both around 35% fat

Delicious! Love the whole "don’t tell mom" vibe

Gem

It’s too early to use my imagination! Don’t forget to hide the spoon! 😂

Adam Clark

Well now i feel hungry and a cinnamon bagel is calling my name! Hope you enjoyed the nap afterwards. Stay happy and safe and thanks for all the good work .

Andy Mlynek

Tell your mum that Uri Geller is a patron and it was him who bent the spoon! Who wouldn't believe that face? 😇 Have a great weekend and stay safe!

Stephen Parker

Hi, Alanna, that was great fun and it looked delicious. The A & N cookbook will soon be published. Hope you are keeping well and safe. Looking forward to your next video soon.

Graham Lavers

Hi Alanna, you do so brighten up my day with your cooking videos,I love them. Oh on You Tube,Yvette from Yvettes Vibes, if you don`t know of her she is an Australian living in the U.K ,maybe you two ladies should compare notes.lol

Graham Lavers

She gives you credit for one of her comparison videos, she pinched the idea from you.

Andy Mlynek

That would be the best cookbook ever! All measurements are approximate and use your imagination. An inspirational bestseller! 😁

Steve Mikre

Thank you for creating another funny Patreon episode. My aunt would take us for ice cream at Dairy Queen when my cousins and I were little...

Banana Split! Now that brings back memories. The best Banana Split i ever had was from an Ice cream parlour in St Ives, Cornwall called Hearts. They made their own Cornish ice cream and it was simply divine. Ah! Childhood memories. I can still recall the wonderful aromas of that ice cream parlour, a combination of fresh cream, bananas and strawberries, as if it was yesterday. So thank you for inspiring such a lovely memory of my childhood. Sadly like my childhood, Hearts is long gone. The last time I was there a few years ago i saw it's now a pizza parlour, albeit a very good one. Thank you Alanna, I shall make your Banana Split. I'm sure it will be every bit as good as Hearts. Now you've got me thinking about Cornwall, how about trying to make a Cornish Pasty. You're on a roll with your cooking successes recently so I'm confident you'd be triumphant.

Eating fruit for breakfast is the healthy choice. That looked delicious! None of us have those long bowls so triangle splits is the new way to go for me.

Ar558a

Lovely work, that looked absolutely scrumptious! I particular enjoyed your offhand discarding of the Chocolate wrapper🤣. Have a lovely weekend and Thanks as always.😎

PaulDeBaene

Even when she would be blindfolded and wear a christmas hat one would believe her. After all she's a Canadian, living in the UK.

Brett Carruthers

Alanna's patreon is the best way to start the weekend. Breakfast is a must though. You know it's the most important meal of the day!

Claire Morash

Yum! I could go for one of those. What will you do with the rest of the chocolate fudge sauce?

Ian Jackson

My sister puts the ice cream in the microwave for ten seconds or maybe a little longer after she takes it out of the freezer so she can serve it without bending the spoon. It works pretty well. Maybe the president in question is the president of the company since there isn't a president of the country. What is "heavy cream"? A commenter above said it's an American thing, but I'm an American and I've never seen or heard of it except on your videos.

Adventures and Naps

The recipe makes so much! We put it in a container and put it in the fridge - was good for banana splits for the rest of the week!

jillian b

That looks very delish.

Mohegan13

Protip... Put the spoon over the cooker flame (or boiling water if you got electric hobs) makes if far easer to spoon out ice cream 😅

Graham Lavers

Take the ice cream out of the freezer about 10 minutes before you use it Alanna.

Andrew Bramfitt

Great video (as usual) - I kept thinking you were calling them 'Alanna Splits' - maybe you should market them as that :- )

Nick Ellis

I have to confess to absolutely loathing banana. As a result, the banana split is somewhat lost on me.

Nick Ellis

Me. Apparently its genetic, which I can believe since no one in my mums family likes them, and neither does my son. There is apparently a pattern, people who really hate bananas also dislike raw tomato.
