Sept Book Club Review! (Surprise: it's good!!) (Patreon)

This month I read The Girl With All the Gifts (you can buy it via the link on Amazon). I really enjoyed it! 

Like I've talked about before, it's easy to read and really easy to get into. After struggling through the first few chapters of Paradise Lost, I was grateful for something simple!!

While classified as a "thriller/horror" I don't think it's scary and that shouldn't put you off from reading it! I thought the story was interesting and explained the world in a really straightforward way. Overall, I enjoyed it!! I haven't seen the movie, but maybe I'll add that to my Spooky Month queue.
