I LOVED The Queen's Gambit, the new mini-series on Netflix! I binged it pretty quickly and then told my mum about who then quickly binged it herself.

I'm definitely not a chess player but I really enjoyed the show - incredible acting, great story, wonderful sets and costumes and a really all-around fabulous show!! Please watch it!!

If you've seen it - what did you think??

Same I binged it in 2 days. Gutted that they’re not having a second season

It was so engaging, I couldn't put it down. They did a great job of making chess exciting.

Likewise - I binge-watched it all in a couple of days! You thoroughly engage with her character (Beth) - and you’re really willing her to do well and, hopefully, become a well-rounded person at the same time! I loved it when Jolene came back into her life and helped her on many levels! Absolutely LOVED it! I’d recommend it to everyone!

It's in my queue to watch. I love Anya Taylor Joy, she's a phenomenal actor. I just finished Simon Pegg and Nick Frosts' new series Truth Seekers. I'd recommend that.

I've only seen the first three episodes so far and I'm loving it... As a chess player it's interesting on so many levels, but the characters are played so well, also the whole feel of the production takes you back to the time it was set... Glad you enjoyed it too 😁

I'm OK with just one season, sometimes the second one is crap. Would love the creative team to create something else together, though!
