I'm with you on the savouries, especially the trimming. Stuffing and sausages One year we couldn't fit the Turkey in the fridge, but it was cold so decided to leave it outside in the garden. Foxes found it and destroyed it. But I had bought much extra stuff we barely noticed Interested to get your review on Stuffing balls and sausage rolls. I wasn't too impressed with the best ever, the meat and pastry were both nice but the ratio was wrong

Merry Christmas! Hope you had a good one 🎄 Don’t eat a lot in the run up to Christmas, seeing as all we’ll be doing up to the new year is stuffing our faces 😂 But I did make sausage rolls on Christmas Eve which were yum!

Aaron Conway

Hope you had a nice Christmas! Thank you so much for all your videos this year, they always helped cheer me up, I really appreciate you making them!

Stephen Mott

Merry Christmas to you too, but no turkey? The wife was taking care of her Mum this year, so I ordered ours, turns out Medium was a bit bigger than normal.. we’re going to be eating it for a few weeks now.. :/

I did thanks. It was very different this year than what we normally do. We normally have a house party xmas eve with all the family round but obviously we couldn't do that this year, but it was still very tired yesterday lol. But I still had a good Christmas. I hope you have a wonderful new year

Hope you had a good Christmas Day Alanna and stuffed yourself with good food and drink. Couple of thoughts - 1) top choice in getting all your Christmas essentials from M&S, where else? and 2) I'm totally with you on useless Fridge sizes, although to be fair in my case I'd also need a bigger kitchen to fit a bigger fridge/freezer inside!!

Yeah, it’s really simple & I think they might be nicer than shop bought! 😏 Its definitely been a year of making & baking 😂

Stuart Summers

Happy Christmas Alanna. We ordered our turkey before Tier4 hit, expecting 6 of us to be eating it. It was too late to change the order once we realised it would just be the two of us. Now Googling recipes for leftover turkey! Don't even ask about the M&S croquembouche!

Andrew

Wow, your friends are so lovely. What awesome gifts. I hope you had a great day yesterday.

Steve Mikre

Those had made Christmas ornaments were amazing. Growing up we often have Chinese for Christmas dinner...

Holger Steinwedel

Merry Christmas! Although it didn‘t really feel like Christmas without the Christmas markets! But I learned something, I now know 20 different ways how to make Christmas punch! Chocolate brussels sprouts, that’s genius!

Have you tried making sausage rolls with the various sausage meat stuffing mixes you can get this time of year, they give a nice Christmas twist to a normal sausage roll.

Arthur Gatward

Merry Christmas. Have you ever done a sausage roll taste test vid, you seem to be all set up for one or at least you were when you made this video.

Dr Philip J Naylor

Merry Twixtmas! Last year broke me of even trying to do a full on Christmas for one, as I spent it in a cottage in the woods in Snowdonia and had to carry a week's worth of food the last couple of miles (along with clothes and hiking gear). This year has been similarly minimal. Looking forward to seeing your hiking videos in the new year - how long does your new camera record for?

Sarah Hogg

I hope you both had a great day yesterday and I hope you can see your friends again soon. In the meantime there’s always getting drunk together on zoom. I’m looking forward to seeing your opinion about these foods after you eat them, I didn’t have dessert yesterday, not my thing I am debating whether to disown my Niece who sent a message to me that her favourite chocolate was the pink fudge quality street, it was traumatic. Thanks for continuing to make videos during this extremely trying year, I realise it’s got to be a nightmare finding ideas but even when you are struggling in life you always give us something to look forward to on video.

Stephen Wadkin

Best wishes to you both. I hope you had a lovely Christmas Day. The gifts from your friends are wonderful, loved the ornaments. Looking forward to your videos with the GoPro. I raise a sausage roll in your honor. 😊

William Seabrook

Does the UK have fresh vegetables available at this time of year? I would definitely miss my broccoli and green beans along to go with all those proteins and carbos. Your chocolate brussels sprouts sound wonderful - only in England would someone think of that! And you're not alone in needing cranberry sauce occasionally.

Merry Christmas!! The new camera battery doesn't seem to last forever, maybe a few hours before charging but charges really fast.

Sven Linton

I love pigs in blankets, I always get loads of them. For christmas dinner and often for regular roast dinners I'll do mashed potatoes and roast potatoes. Christmas dinner always has honey roast parsnips, ham and turkey, Yorkshire pudding, turkey gravy and turkey gravy with cranberry sauce in, carrot & swede mash and roasted chantanay carrots which were par boiled in orange juice prior to roasting. I had a Chinese on christmas eve.

David Powell

Merry Christmas Alanna 🎄🎅 Hope you had a nice day. Had three plates full of turkey, stuffing, roast potatoes and parsnips with wild cranberry sauce, then went out to walk it off (well waddle it off really, I was so full!)

Andy

Loved the video as always. I hope you've recovered from all of the food haha! As with most people I had a smaller quieter Christmas with just a few of us. We always have Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve and then on Christmas day it's more of a lazy ' I can't move' kind of a day where we just open presents and have a buffet from whatever we have bought from Iceland and the turkey leftovers lol. Hope you and everybody else had a great Christmas to round off the terrible year. My New Years resolution is to stop swearing so I am trying soooo hard after the year we've had! Any tips haha.
