This week I dived into one of my birthday presents and made some pottery!! It went as well as you might have guessed!

Well you certainly have a lot more patience than me Alanna. I'm sure that if I hit the rolling pin stickiness issue then whatever clay I could manage to unstick would be out of the window, closely followed by the rolling pin (good choice as in-house protection btw, that looks like a serious deterrent!). Great video as usual.

I think for a first attempt that counts as a victory. You need to read up a bit about slip and how helpful water is in the whole process. Maybe make a pen holder, just a blob with impressions made by pens which you then leave to set and paint before sticking pens in again.
