Recently I watched News of the World and it was fine! It felt like a typical Tom Hanks film but nothing too special. It's certainly worth a watch if you can get your hands on it. It was going to cost my mum $20 to rent it back in Ontario - definitely not worth that price tag!

I'd say a solid 3/5 Tom-Hanks-Riding-On-Horses

Great scenery, basic plot, good Tom Hanks moments. Sometimes that's all you need! Have you guys seen it?

News of the World (2020)

Five years after the end of the Civil War, Capt. Jefferson Kyle Kidd crosses paths with a 10-year-old girl taken by the Kiowa people. Forced to return to her aunt and uncle, Kidd agrees to escort the child across the harsh and unforgiving plains of Texas.

Oh yes I've seen it 🙋 I loved it, I had never considered people doing the job of going around reading the news, seems obvious after watching it. Glad you enjoyed it too

Any movie with Tom Hanks is worth a watch...

Peter Matthews

I enjoyed it , well made movie one of the rare movies this year I watched until the end

Claire Fuglø

I watched it on Danish Netflix in the Faroe Islands. I agree with the 3/5 rating. Preferred The Dig.

David Powell

Just finished watching it, and 3/5 is exactly how I'd rate it to. Nothing bad about it, but nothing that made it really stand out either.
