Recently I watched Come True... and I have some feelings. But I don't want to spoil it.

I will say - it's got a great atmosphere, really neat aesthetic and an interesting idea. But my god - HUH??? If that type of movie annoys you, better skip this one. But if you're willing to try an arty horror film, give it a shot!

Come True (2020)

Looking for an escape from her recurring nightmares, 18-year-old Sarah (Julia Sarah Stone) submits to a university sleep study, but soon realizes she's become the conduit to a frightening new discovery. Dreams twist and nightmares come true in this mind-altering new work of science-fiction from Anthony Scott Burns (OUR HOUSE) that haunts the space between wakefulness and sleep.

I lve arty films, but not horror. Sorry. But some films I'd recommend: Three Colors Blue / Three Colors White / Three Colours Red. Blue is my favourite, it is about "Skeletons in the Cupboard", but White is great if you want a film about sheer, terrible, cold-blooded revenge. "Cinema Paradiso"- ideally the long version. I dare you to watch the film, and then the ending without crying happy tears! "Smala Sussie" - huge fun! "ID:A" - a real "WTF? mystery" Finally "Fuck Up": A real humorous romp.

I watched this during the online Fantasia Film Festival last summer. I really liked the aesthetic and design of the look. The way they did the dreams was really cool and well done.

Indeed, but there are very faint connections, and so Blue:White:Red makes a teensy bit more sense.
