I guess we'll have to wait a little while longer for the range of Edenbridge ciders! Fun video as always Alanna, hope you're getting settled at your new place.

Simon

Would an explanation of what specific gravity is and why you measure it help?

Aaron Conway

Thank you so much for making this video! Ive been having a really bad week, but this helped take my mind off things! Thank you! I really appreciate it! Hope everything has gone OK with your move! I hope youre doing ok too!

Malcolm Lawrence

A really fun video with the homebrew cider...though maybe just as well you didn't get to drink it, and the shirt with the 100k You Tube subs and the A&N colour and logo looked really cool too - a chance for some Alanna merch surely? Anyway, hope the move went well and you're already enjoying your new place.

That was great! I always wanted to try brewing cider but I knew it was complicated & now I see it might bring back repressed memories of A-Level Chemistry, I think I’ll give it a miss 😂 Hope everything’s going well in the new place!

Bigger Jugs is that the real name of the company. Why does that make my laugh. Great vid Alanna .Very funny. Many thanks ..

Stephen Parker

Hi, Alanna, that was absolutely brilliant, I really enjoyed that. You should put a clip of that in a YT video to show them what they're missing by not subbing to Patreon. Don't forget to let us know your new box number so we can send house warming gifts. Hope the unpacking is going well. Looking forward to your next video soon.

Never fails to make me smile, it wouldn't be the same if things worked out. Many congrats on the 100K, fantastic achievement. Very best wishes for your move and good luck in your new home

Stephen Wadkin

Thanks Alanna, that brought back lovely memories of my grandfather who was an avid homebrewer. It is quite critical to get the quantities correct to achieve the best results, although cider is a bit more forgiving than an ale, which can quickly turn to vinegar if you don't get it right. I hope you're reading this in your new home, and all is going well.

Stuart Summers

Specific Gravity sounds such an olde worlde term, like Pennyweight, Bushel and Chain.

Steve Mikre

When Alanna steps into the kitchen magic and mayhem is sure to ensue. Patreon members get to laugh and we don't have to help clean up either (bonus)!!!

There are lots of artisan Cider and Perry makers in Kent, find a friendly one and get some tips. Depends if you want a nice easy drinking Cider or an head wrecking Scrumpy. Lots of artisan brewers as well, Kent was the home of the Hop at one time. Hope the move went well.

You must frequent some very generous pubs if you think that tin holds a pint! Trying to use the siphon as an airlock did give me laugh amongst all the "noooooo"s though - thank you.

Mark J

Thanks very much for the instructional video - it's been quite a few years since I made home brew wine, but I now feel inspired to tackle cider after this masterclass 😉😁

Alanna: This needs to be explained first otherwise it won't make sense. *Channel generally doesn't make a lot of sense* lol.

hi alanna, yes its all about the last hanging ,that took place over here. and was thinking it could be good for the murder friends pod cast .. the print outs are back ground info. on the hang man , and the Chaplin journal, is a copy from the real book written at the time .

sunner soohooo

U really do channel the motto of the -OLD-" Top Gear" petrol-head series "Ambitious but Rubbish" sooo well, Alanna. They manipulated 🚗cars w/ cheeky abandon just as u manipulate instructions & recipes w/ irreverent glee ! ( ... U don't get more funny + British than Old Top Gear! )

Sarah Hogg

I used to help my uncle brew his lager on Saturday as a kid and I don’t remember it being as complicated so you did really well from my view. I hope you have had a great move and are enjoying your new flat, I’m very glad you didn’t end up homeless, even for a short time. Thank you for the video and I hope you and your family are staying healthy.

We used the old floating kind of hydrometers a lot when I worked in the lab. They really need to explain how they work better. Even people that used them every day would have trouble when they first started. My grandpa home brewed beer. I couldn't help because I wasn't able to follow directions exactly back then. Probably a good thing you didn't try drinking that.

Paul Brown

Great video. I would love to t try it myself but do t have the strength or energy to do it. I also don’t drink unless you pin me down and force it down my neck or buy me alcohol.
