Nothing better then a hungover breakfast (I’ve had 2 this week 😂)… Looked great, think I’d swap out the black pudding & haggis, but square sausage & potato scone sounds yum! Feeling hungry now, might make some eggs… Hope you have a great weekend!

Paul Brown

Looks great. I would swap the haggis and egg but the rest would be gone within seconds.

Mark Walsh

Thanks Alanna .You can get all of that online .We get meat delivered next day from a place up north ..It's expensive but the choice is great . Really enjoyed this Saturday's vid ..

Aaron Conway

This was awesome! I haven't even heard of most of the things in that breakfast😂! I want to send irish snacks to the PO box soon! I'll send potato bread and soda bread too! That's what's in an irish breakfast! Hope you have a nice weekend!!

Simon

A lorne sausage making video in the future? Although you can get a similar texture, not exact taste, by taking good meaty sausage and removing the meat from the skin and pressing in flat to cook it

John Fry

Looks great, as for the ingredients I take a “not listening” view, I know what’s in them, but I also know how good they taste!

Steve Mikre

Love the sound of the sizzle...🍳

Mark J

That was great, although the beans really need a separate pan you made it work 🍴 looks delicious though, going to have to look out for square sausage myself!

Tony S

Favourite breakfast? Bucks Fizz, start the day as one means to continue.

Holger Steinwedel

That looked delicious! One of my favourites is a ham and cheese omelette with a side of pancakes. But the all-time-favourite breakfast would be leftover pizza.

Stuart Hamilton

Wotcha! Our local Morrison's used to sell the square sausage (Caterham, Surrey) but I emigrated back to Kent and I haven't seen it at all here (Petts Wood, Bromley). Many moons ago, we went on a family holiday to Scotland. Dad had loads of cousins in the Stranrear (pro "Stranrah") area. We went from farm to farm, I can still taste the fabulous farmhouse teas! Tattie scones were the highlight!

Malcolm Lawrence

That looked lovely and I'd happily eat it all - a variation on a full English (sorry Brian!). I only ever treat myself to a proper full English when I'm on holiday which makes it a proper treat...and my hols are only 6 weeks away now. Bring it on!!

David O

I haven't seen anyone cook beans like that since black and white cowboy films.

Dr Philip J Naylor

I much prefer the eggs to be scrambled, ideally with some grated emmental cheese and sliced up leaves from spring onions.

Sarah Hogg

That looked like a great breakfast and I hope you find a square sausage supplier in your area. I have never seen it before but I will have to keep an eye out for it. Thanks for sharing your meal with us, hope you and the butler have a great weekend. Also thanks to Brian

Hi, Alanna, another brilliant video, oh there are two of them that was a brilliant Alanna cooking moment. It looked good.

Andrew8468

Now I'm hungry and it's almost time for brunch. I have some Danish style bacon I am going to try

john massey

Enjoyed the vid very much ! Wish I could get the square sausage to try . I have found a few places here in the US that have the stuff for a 'real' full English . I might have to give that a go . Thanks again for a fun vid !

Great video!!! I like your style of everything cooked all together. People eat hot dogs and so I don't see what's wrong with eating Haggis or blood/black pudding. Sometimes things aren't just to one's texture/flavour profile, but as far as ingredients go, it's just minced meat with spices. I'm assuming it was all originated as a way of using all bits of the animal and could be preserved well.

Not a fan of black pudding myself. My full Scottish breakfast would be lorne, polony (in place of the black pudding), haggis (can take it or leave it), tattie scones, beans, egg, and every now and again as a treat ... a nice white slice of bread fried in the oil from cooking all that goodness. 😋

Brett Carruthers

Anything else, the black hockey puck would be burnt and inedible. But that's just how the Scots like their meat.

James Alberg

Ok, hockey puck and the haggis didn't do it for me personally, but I'm onboard with everything else 😋 Great video Alanna 👋🏻👋🏻

Marc Bernstein

Great video I myself maybe because I am Jewish have never in my whole life had a full English or even a Scottish breakfast. I am so used to cereal or porridge and toast. My late father would often go off in secret to a place where nobody knew him so he could eat a full English breakfast to relive his London East End wartime childhood

Love everything on Scottish breaking apart from black pudding
