This was great! You got some cool stuff! It's always nice when you get Canadian stuff too! Im gonna play some skyrim this weekend and I might watch a harry potter movie because you talking about them made me want to watch it!😂 I turn 18 this week too which is exciting! Hope you have a great weekend! And thank you for all the videos! They're always great! :)

Those were some great treats! Not an irn bru fan but those pastilles are surprisingly good… Never had mead before, should give that a try, although maybe not at 10am 😂… Was gonna send some cider if I can work out how to get it to you, it’s a work in progress lol… Hope you’re doing okay 🙂

You should totally try mead, I think you'd really like it! At least a honey one like that one - not sure how different others would be 🤔

I loved Irn Bru as a kid but the attraction has kind of worn off since, but Mead is lovely although I've only drunk it a few times - there's loads of different types, basically honey plus any sort of fruity/berry type alcohol. Another lovely selection of goodies there Alanna!

Glad I made another Mead convert - and yes, drink it like whisky not like wine - that was the mistake I made the first time, was a great evening though from what I remember :)

I’ll have to investigate & report back!

Hi, Alanna, very entertaining. It's great watching you open parcels and haven't done a taste test for ages. For one moment when you were holding a can of Irn Bru in each hand I thought you'd become Kenny, but I soon realised it was still you from your scores. I have never tried Irn Bru or mead.

Great video, some really nice stuff there. I'm so jealous of the your All Dressed, I looked at getting some on Amazon and they wanted £22 per bag for them..... I think I'll wait. Nice to see the return of the classic "It tastes like beer". 😂

I drink Canada-Dry Ginger Ale when I'm not feeling good...

It’s my younger brother’s birthday today & my sister & her family have travelled up five hours for the weekend! 12 of us will be having a family meal at an Indian restaurant!

That Mead was a strong one, traditionally it was made only about 3% and was drunk instead of water as that was unsafe to drink back then, often only Monks made the stronger stuff. Try drinking it at ambient temperature, the flavour comes out better, anything tastes better if not straight out of the fridge. One does not eat ice cold cheese or drink cold red wine, both are best at 16 -18℃.

When I saw the John Deer deer I thought you ordered a tiny lawn mower!

What do your English friends think of the All Dressed? #BestChip

I don't know if you know this Alanna but it's 10 am.

Iain - I'm a bit surprised to read you saying you should drink Mead like whisky rather than wine. My experience of it is somehat limited, admittedly, but I do know that mead is made from fermented honey, in exactly the same way that wine is made from fermented grape juice (or other fruit juices) - which, to me, puts it in the same alcoholic percentage group as wine - seeing that it has NOT been distilled afterwards. It IS lush-tasting, though!

Iain Chase

I just meant really that you shouldn’t put it in a pint glass and down it like cider 😊. It’s on the higher side APV compared to wine and when I first tried it I drank it by the wine glass full and it didn’t end well

Since you got a tea towel with instructions, have you ever looked up ISO 3103? I am probably wrong, but I think when it first came out it has a different number but was published by some official organization in the UK. I work in the sciences, so organizations like ASTM, ASME and the ISO specifications are usually "The Official Way" to do X. Royal Society of Chemists also published something about the perfect cup of tea at one point in time. As an American, I find all this quite humorous.
