Happy November, everyone!! I find that November is one of the crappiest months so I decided to put up our Christmas tree early - it always looks so much nicer!

Do you guys wait for a specific day to put up your tree, or just whenever you feel like it?

I hadn’t thought about mice being in it until now! 😱😂 Guess that’s gonna be someone else’s job from now on lol We usually put our tree up mid-December, although next Christmas my brother will have kids, so it’ll probably have to go up much earlier! We used to do two trees until like 5 years ago, when we got rid of all our crap ornaments! Hope have a good weekend, despite the weather 🎄

Very nice tree, Our tradition when we were kids was the first weekend in December. I usually do the 2nd or 3rd weekend if I can be bothered at all....😂 *Knock Knock* "Open up, this is the Christmas tree police". Also, The Kiss?? What is this, a student house or something?? 😂😂 'm only teasing, I really like Klimt paintings.

I won’t bother with a tree myself but I’m sure when I go home my Mam will have a big one full of the crappy ornaments that my sisters kids love. It’s probably not up yet though I think yours is the first I have seen outside of shops, I think it’s great that you are putting your’s up for you not for kids also I love the vault tec jumper. I hope you have a great weekend, we have a bit of snow but mostly wind so it’s a good day for gaming. Thanks for the video

You should have fired that glitter bomb at it! It would have saved you the hassle of having to decorate it!

Your tree looks really nice! I’ve always thought November is awful too! Sorry if you’ve had a bad one! I hope you have a great December! These videos are always really nice, thank you so much for making them! Hope you have a great weekend!

It's a great Christmas tree because it represents your past, present, and future in the UK. That's pretty special...🎄

Hi, Alanna, that was fun, I really laughed at you looking for a mouse. Definitely not too early to put the tree up Christmas Day is only four weeks today. Really good.

Aragorn

I don`t put up a Christmas tree, as i am never at home on Christmas.

Looks great. Give yourself a pat on the back.

Always brightens up the room ..This time of years it's just dark and wet .Looks good and make Christmas. .If you look around you can get very good decorations at a half decent price..M&S always do nice ones ..Thanks Alanna...

Nice tree - you can't go wrong with M&S and the decorations make it look very smart! In pre-covid days the extended family used to meet up at my niece's place so I never bothered, however this will be the 2nd Christmas that we aren't getting together so I'll need to get organised!!

Once when I was a young shit disturber, I opened up some of my presents early and then tried to wrap them back up. Ones that clearly looked opened, I tried to hide behind the tree. Obviously did not work at all lol.

My Fibre Optic tree goes up on Christmas Eve, just like the real one used to, that was planted in the Garden and a week before Christmas had to be dug up and planted into a tub on casters, an half barrel, wheeled into the conservatory to acclimatise (heating turned off for a few days) before wheeling into the Drawing Room on Christmas Eve and decorated, the whole operation in reverse on Twelfth Night. It eventually got too tall and stayed in the front garden and decorated there as an outside tree. It may be still there but would be about 35 feet tall by now or more. It used to drink several litres of water a day when indoors with little needle drop, more were knocked off maneuvering it around through doors. Should have given it the Bonsai treatment at 6 foot by burying the container to restrict the roots and regular trimming.

Yay I can comment again. That is a beautiful tree and I'm guessing M&S will have lots of stars or angels to go on the top of the tree. I'm sure there will be lots of presents under the tree very soon.

I know there are no rules, but my late wife and I always tried to put our tree up twelve days before Christmas and then take it down twelve days after - the reason we tried to stick to that was so that we wouldn't get fed up of it if we'd put it up too soon! I have a big, gold star we always put on the top - but in recent years I bought a beautiful fairy in a silvery-white dress, which I top my tree with nowadays instead! I still have the star in case I ever change my mind. I also drape gold festoons (I call it tinsel) from branch-tip to branch-tip, all around the tree after I've finished adding our lifetime's collection of different coloured baubles. It adds a luxurious, extra dimension to the beauty of the tree.

Excited/Nervous 😬 I’m not the best with kids lol but my brother has always wanted kids & after working their way through the adoption process, him & his partner have been matched! So I’ll soon have 2 nephews 😄
