Hey Patreon! Hope you're having a great Saturday! ☺️

Today we're taste testing some American candy I found here in England! I needed to find some root beer for yesterday video and I figured.. while I was there, would be a shame not to... lol

We mainly have British people here on Patreon, but let me know if you have a favourite American sweet!

Hope you like the video and have a great rest of your day!

Shame the Butterfinger wasn't great, personally I love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Thanks as always for starting Saturday off with a fun video!

I prefer American snacks! When I go on holiday there I love getting snacks lol, I get twizzlers a lot, and I like how in the US there’s so many more flavours of everything! There’s so many more flavours of Mountain Dew and Gatorade there lol, this was interesting and reminded me of going on holiday to the US lol, thanks for the video! Hope you have a nice weekend!

I remember when Bart Simpson was used in the Butter Fingers television commercials (adverts)...

Cookies & crème twix?! Despite your review, I feel like I need to try it lol Rainbow Twizzlers all the way! Say NO to peanut butter! And send me all your Candy Corn! 😂 I found a load of flavours of Mountain Dew I haven’t tried before in my local corner shop. Slowly drinking them to help me through babysitting duties 😂 P.s. I don’t like Dr Pepper 😬

American licorice and red vines and the worst thing on the planet that isn't human.

Peanut Butter chocolate bars would be a nightmare for manufacturers to produce here as would need a complete separate building producing only those to avoid any possible cross contamination to other products, as you know that has been in the news lately with the Pret sandwich death. An ingredient in the sandwich that had been contaminated with dairy as it had not been allergen tested by the manufacturer. The second case that Pret had been involved in.

Jolly Ranchers are so good. Remember using the liquorice as a straw in your pop as a kid.

Butterfingers have a way of getting into your teeth and sticking for hours. They taste good but is it worth the suffering? Not really. It's a bummer that "American Chocolate" is synonymous with the cheap, low end mass market brands like Hershey's, which is utterly vile. There is lots of amazing American chocolate as well. A more nuanced description may be something like Americans tolerate a tier of horrible chocolate at the lowest end, which is not done in the UK. Even slightly step-up American chocolates like Dove, Ghirardelli, and Guittard are 100x better than Hershey's.

When I worked in London I was always in the shop that sold sweets and candy from around the world near Covent Garden. It all started because I'd never had a Hershey bar before but I gradually worked my way around to all sorts of things from the US and beyond. Yum!
