I don't think I've ever "Practice packed" before.... 😆 I hope you and the Butler have fun in Italy. 🇮🇹 🥳

15 pairs of pants for 5 days? Are you expecting an emergency? 😂 Have fun in Italy!

Aaron Conway

Hope you have a nice time in Italy!

Hope you’re having a great time in Florence! I just came back from Sicily yesterday, it was fantastic! Make sure you go up to the roof of the Duomo, all the 463 steps! You have a wonderful view from up there, first on the frescos inside and then on the entire city from outside. And after climbing all those stairs you have earned yourself one of those giant Florentine steaks.

Hope you have a great time in Italy. Enjoy the break 🙂

I'm kinda with Kimberly in being surprised by the underwear equation! Hope you have a great time there 😃

I’m afraid Florence depressed me. All the money spent on opulence and “glory” while the general populace starved. So much wasted by the Catholic Church- and it didn’t help that it rained all day either.

Have a great time. Beautiful part of the world

Alanna needs a holiday just to recuperate from her holiday packing ordeal...😥✈

Bon Giorno, Alanna. Packing shoes and going to a country that has some of the best shoe designers in the world. Madness. Just ensure that the card has plenty on it. Definitely go for smart otherwise you'll stick out like a sore thumb, even casual is smart in Italy for anyone not a student. I always pack a dinner suit as one never knows when one might end up in a smart Michelin starred restaurant or the opera/theatre. Then I would be travelling by train not plane so weight or size of case not a problem, just have to drag the wheelie case(s) or find a porter. They still have them in Europe. Hope that the French ATC won't be on strike when you fly, unless the airline reroute the flight to avoid French Airspace, so be prepared for delays and/or cancellations. Their protests are now getting ludicrous. Even a State visit has had to be postponed. Ciao x.

Never mind the temp, look at the humidity! 20C can feel like 10C or 30C depending on the humidity. Plus, either wear and take stuff you could live without and lose them after wearing and buy stuff over there. Italian fashion? yes please! Plus, wear as much as can on the flight. It saves packing the thing! Have wunnerful trip!

I thought that a bit OTT, I just pack one for each day plus 2 spare per week, they can always be washed out in the shower/wash basin and hung up on the shower/towel rail to dry. Hotel laundry service a last resort. Getting creases out of ironed clothes is easy too, just fill the bathroom with steam and hang on a hanger on the shower rail overnight.

I've never practice packed either. One of the rules is you are supposed to forget something lol but Florence sounds great and I hope you and the Butler have a great time. For your chef friend visit I know the guys at Sorted seem to like Hoppers which is Sri Lankan cuisine as well as Hawksmoor who have several restaurants all in London. I would suggest you go to Hawksmoor Spitalfields location or Borough location which are near those markets
