Have you never had the original French Fancy version of the fiendish ones? Mr Kipling has a huge variety of those cakes that aren't orange flavoured. You should have a browse when shopping next time.

I would guess that as pumpkin isn't a big deal over here, orange is the closest thing that gives the right look. You are right about the Whirl too, have a coffee with a Viennese Whirl for a little treat.

Why does every Halloween themed thing have to be orange flavoured? To annoy people like you that’s why! You ask for Halloween, and we gave it to you! And yet you are still unsatisfied! You can’t win. Also chocolate orange is actually really good! Just old man Alanna here doesn’t know what she’s talking about!

All the Mr Kipling stuff is giving me nostalgia of afternoons at my Granny’s as a kid lol… you should do a taste test of non-Halloween Mr Kipling, Fancies & Country Slices were always my faves… Usually, if it’s not raining (& if I can be bothered), I’ll go stand up Box Hill, Surrey & watch Brockham bonfire!

You won't like a Terry's Chocolate Orange then, I love them along with Jaffa Cakes, unfortunately now a very occasional treat as my GP has me on a salt and sugar free diet other than naturally occurring in the food. A boring and no fun food Christmas this year. No Christmas pud, Mince Pies or Quality Street. I'll just have to drown in Bucks Fizz.

I can't believe I've never had a Viennese Whirl before - definitely finished off the boxes of these spooky ones after filming lol

Fiendish Fancies sounds like something from Honeyduke's in Harry Potter! I never liked that chocolate honeycomb stuff, a bit like edible pumice if you ask me...

Maybe orange flavour is popular with Halloween sweets, because pumpkin flavour is not embraced in the UK?
