Save your time & money by not going to Winter Wonderland! 😂 Glad you had a good time with your mum! A few years ago I did a distillery tour of Bombay Sapphire, I hate gin but it was so interesting lol… I remember there was a room which had vapours in it so flammable we weren’t allowed to take our phones inside. Also tried a drop of 80% proof gin, almost knocked me out 😂

Glad all went well with your Mum's visit, being away from the family makes time together more memorable and precious, one is less likely to want to kill them as one did as a teenager or lived together. An idea for a future video, the Plum Pudding Riots in Canterbury when under Oliver Cromwell's rule Christmas was cancelled. That lasted in some form until the Restoration of the Monarchy. As one can imagine, it was not too popular with the people or the Clergy. Puritans were the fun police on steroids.

I totally agree with Gem, Winter Wonderland is a cross between a hoover and Velcro, It sucks and a rip-off! As for the length of this video: it seems like I'm out shopping and I meet you in the street and we catch up with the news, then bugger off home! Nice! And finally, the lighting at the end of the video is beautiful! Very sepia and seasonal! Totally matching your jumper! Merry Christmas! PS I've done the S N brewery tour. Loved it!

Yay for family fun times! I really like the idea of just touring about near home and her getting to experience the same day to day things as you do. Hit al the local highlights.

What you call "Having a bit of a noodle" sounds like what we would call "Having a bit of a mooch" ("mooching around" - like nosing around and having a good look at everything - "rummaging" is another good word for it!

Not just puddings, Christmas was banned totally, every shop and business had to open, Christmas Church services were banned, too Popish for Puritans and churches had to be bare places with just a simple cross. All the beautiful Frescoes were lime washed over. The Archbishop wes not a happy bunny. The people were very happy when Monarchy was restored but not to pay for it, so most still Royal owned property was handed over to the Government and the Crown Estate formed to manage the estates and spend the incomes. The Monarch paid expenses from this income by the Government by what was known as the Civil List. Two exceptions that the Monarchy was allowed to keep, the Duchy of Lancaster and the Duchy of Cornwall estates.

There is something ironic about a Canadian youtuber living in Japan showing a Canadian youtuber living in Kent the best tea room in Kent. What a time to be alive

pleased you had a great time with your Mom, sounds exhausting but fun especially the brewery. You tube is a weird place the cocktails video was really funny!
