Pretty damn excited to share with you her improvement. Feeling very thankful! ☺️

We really didn't know she was only on 280 watts!

I mean, sure, all the signs were there - our winches struggled and power would cut regularly. Sharmila's batteries depeleted excessively for seemingly no reason, to run two or even just one fridge and charge necessary appliances seemed impossible without lugging the noisy generator up onto deck - sometimes daily, which tuned up petrol costs and was an uncomfortable and risky job especially when underway.

Now with Sharmila on the hard, Ben had the team at Ayn Marine Services cut off the rack supporting our old solar panels and fabricated a longer rack to accompany the 3 new larger panels.

Unfortunately this unfolded to become a much bigger job than anyone had expected. What was to be 8 hours of work was now 50.

But the job was done by a gracious and competent team we trust, and only charged for 30 hours. It's very hard to frown at that kindness! 😄❤️

This’ll be such a game changer. So happy for you to have this upgrade functioning.

Was there an upgrade to different batteries as well?

No. I have 6x AGM 120Amp 1 starter battery and a battery for the windlass, they are only just over one year old. Next time I will get lithium as apparently they a game changer. But for now we will be fine with 1180watts . Very happy.
