Sana

She asked for the cat name before theirs 💔

Lys

What I really loved about this episode is the call out toward Lena. Because even though she's aware that she's privileged as an Alba and is kind to the 86, she thinks that would make her equals with them and immune to prejudice.

Capt'n Ren

I hope someone warned you or that you noticed that the ED is almost never the end of the episode. This anime uses the Title cards and ED's to do perspective switches between The 86 and Lena as the protagonists throughout the first half of the show.

Glad to hear it, I am slowly working on catching up! It's a show like Mushoku Tensei where they do something unique with the presentation of the show that just makes it truly special story-telling wise.

Glad to hear you are. It's such an emotional ride of a show, with so much detail packed in. I HIGHLY recommend a series of videos called "Details And Symbolism in 86 Eighty Six" This is the first video https://youtu.be/dn1f0zKh7O8?si=S1Va-9Yu7kiu1f5l It's broken down to where you could actually watch the first one now. As it focuses purely on episodes 1-11 and will help point out details you may have missed in the first half.
