IMPORTANT INFORMATION  ABOUT THIS ARC AND NEXT THE NEXT ARC IS NOT  ACTUALLY 100% FILLER   ABOUT THIS ARC; I see some people have some doubts so.... first plot armor and power of friendship are 2 diff things, i already explained one about 2nd I won't deny that Fairy Tail has plot armor a lot but almost every anime does, no anime kills off their main characters UNLESS it's the theme, Let's NOT forget that the main character in fairy tail is THE GUILD ITSELF not Natsu or Lucy......The author said himself: i don't like killing my characters that's not my thing, that's not what i convey/my message.....i am showing positivity and looking at the bright side. He also said i was lonely with no friends, Fairy Tail is inspired by that and not by, politics, darkness of human nature or depression  That's also why friendship is sacred, Power of feelings plays a really big role as emotions can be menifestion and they menifest it into magic, I'M SORRY TO SAY Fairy Tail is NOT an anime where if you train hard enough you can do God's work like others. That's not fairy tail.... instead IF YOU USE POWER BEYOND YOUR CONTROL IT'LL HAVE CONCECUENCES, examples Ul and Azuma, no matter how strong you are...... INSTEAD OF EXTREM POWER AND BRUTE FORCE, most of the battles in Fairy Tail are won by strategy, quick thinking and IQ not power alone, in the fight with Hades it's said clearly they got lucky BUT it's still explained properly HOW, and not just because....... I don't know if y'all actually gets what is being conveyed and how..... but i don't blame you, sometimes it's hard to.....Power of feelings might sound strange for people who don't believe in energy, divinity and spirituality but THAT'S HOW IT'S WRITTEN, every anime has their own theme and background.... but the problem starts when we start seeing every anime from the same eye and not different perspectives

I'm sorry if i talk too much, i just feel like you guys need to know this, wo you'll get /enjoy the anime for real, some things Are hard to understand 7n FT, some scenes, fights motives etc....i wanted to say this before y'all start watching so you would know exactly what it is about and not what you have heard

You can skip next arc cuz its filler but is mentioned in anime once so its not a big deal, or just watch it the choice is al yours 😁

It's actually not filler Hiro Mahsima wrote the storyline himself and was involved with anime as well 😊 So if they can watch Daphne arc 😅 they should definitely watch this one it's a great arc

I saw that someone mentioned to skip the next arc but I highly recommend not to do so because it was not just a filler arc and some of the events in this arc get referenced in the main canon story. This considered as a semi-canon arc. Also hope y'all are enjoying Fairy Tail series so far.

do not skip the next arc! the next arc is fire and its actually very important for the plot and character development (like Kinana and etc). so I wouldn't call it filler

The next arc is NOT filler, even though it wasn't in the manga originally, it will be referenced in the future, so don't skip it

Lucy dad is dead. She literally says he worked himself to death and had a health issue. 😭not yall completely missing it, the mention of him closing something to the west doesn’t matter. It just showed that he finally casted all his ego aside and became a hard working man.

Mavis is one of my favorite characters!!! There will definitely be more opportunities to learn about her in the future. Not a huge fan of the Starry Skies arc personally, but I can’t WAIT for the Grand Magic Games. It has my favorite single episode in the whole show: 100 v 1

I just want to say for the next arc, key of the starry heavens is actually not filler it is canon and the story of the arc is written by Hiro Mashima himself, he just couldn’t put it in the manga because of time constraints so he added it to the anime instead, but it does need to be watched, I personally enjoy the next arc like some other people, I will say that the arc may start off kind of slow but it gets lot better halfway through. Also episode 126 is canon to the arc.

It wasn’t in the manga purely due to Mashima’s editor team informing him of time constraints, the arc is canon it just had to be added to the anime instead

Personally I wouldn't skip next arc even though it is anime-only. There are some good moments in it, even if it is a bit slow in the beginning. Also Mashima-sensei was involved so I wouldn't call it filler. But you do whatever you feel like 😊

It’s been one of our favorite anime’s so far…we will be watching this arc no worries!

no her dad is really dead 😭 it’s unfortunate that they really missed each other by just a month. but yeah they said he worked himself to death basically. The gifts were probably scheduled and the letters written in advance so we really don’t know when he wrote it. this scene always makes me cry. and I make it sadder in my head cuz I can’t help but imagine that he was also worriedly waiting to see her and was probably working so hard so that he could be a father she could finally be proud of when she came back . And that over working lead him to miss her by just a month :( anyways the next arc people do say it’s filler because it’s anime only but to me it’s semi canon because mashima did participate in it (although probably not as much he does in the manga but he’s involved regardless!) and it does get referenced later on I believe. upon multiple rewatches of this show, I’ve grown to like the next arc. Not my favorite but a good one nonetheless. And I’ve seen other reactors say that they’re glad they didn’t skip it either :) although I’m not sure if it will be the one to break the streak of “arcs getting better and better” for you guys hahaha but we’ll see! as for my favorite powers — I gotta say laxus (not just because I loved him hahaha) but because I do think it’s really cool. I mean.. not only is it just a super strong power, but he can basically TELEPORT via lightning strikes! that’s pretty cool. so he’s got speed and strength! I also really think ultear’s powers and guildarts’ powers are super op hahaha

I could not be Lucy in that situation because I would have torn down a fucking building. Because what do you mean I just started to reconnect with my dad, then I lost 7 years of my life only to come back and find out that he died ONE MONTH before I came back. And on top of that he paid off my rent for the time I was missing and kept sending me birthday gifts every single year that I was missing with just the hope that I would come back. They would have had to put me in restraints.
