Haha this gang is from authors previous work The coming arc ( Key of the starry heavens/ sky ) may not be in manga but the story line is written by Hiro Mahsima himself and was involved in anime, except for Daphne arc no arc or episodes in FT are really filler...... Also I wanted to say that you'll find FT arcs fast and slow that's how you balance a series, i love Fairy Tail pacing..... author has written it like that so he won't throw too much at a time or slow down to the point of boredom..... regardless there's a lot going on in every arc.....and side episode are their quest adventure so people won't complain 😁

Celestial spirit arc is skippable, its just long filler and boring...nothing happens if they dont watch this.

At this point, I don’t think you guys should worry too much about Zeref knowing Natsu. Just keep in mind that the connection is there. Also I’m glad you guys are taking the time to watch the slow episodes as well as the crazy and exciting ones. For me, Fairy Tail was definitely a show where I wished it wasn’t over once it was over. Glad to be along for the ride with you guys

Nare, you sir lack whimsy. That arc has 3 of the best fights in anime history, as well as 2 pretty cool character moments. And it is hilarious from start to finish

I think you guys are a little confused on one thing during your theories haha - during the tower of heaven arc, zeref himself was never actually involved. he never possessed jellal, that was just ultear pretending to be the spirit of zeref to brainwash jellal. so the person “possessing” jellal during that time was ultear using dark magic. Prior to this arc, ultear has never met nor interacted with zeref and neither has jellal :)

The starry sky arc does kinda of drag but I truly love it honestly it is one I think you should at least watch one while going through the anime. A lot of other people that I’ve watch react to it seemed to enjoy it for the most part
