Charlie voice actor is Erika Henningsen while Emily's is Shoba Narayan. But the fact they sound similar in very intentional according to Vivian Medrano to symbolise that Emily and Charlie are like two faces of the same coin

As you may have noticed, some scenes here are literally just a song We all love the songs from this season, but the downside to this season is that some episodes are too much about the songs and not enough about the plot.

Won't go into details (because spoilers) but I honestly don't understand the "too much song, not enough plot" critique for season 2. Be it exposition or character driven/motivation, the songs still contribute to the story. I can think of only one instance in the finale where one song kinda disrupts the flow, but even then it's not a deal breaker. Same as season 1, season 2's plot itself has major weak points, but having fewer songs wouldn't have fixed the writing.

I'm not talking about reducing the number of songs, but increasing the amount of plot. After episode 8 of season 2, it's clear they can make longer episodes, so why don't they? They could have done that in the first season because it's just an introduction, where we only get to know the characters superficially. In the second season, we should get to know them a bit better. (They gave us a whole season about Vox and well, we still don't really know anything about him.)

Definitely wish they got more episodes per season. Both seasons suffer having only 8 episodes. It's clear storylines had to be heavily redacted to fit the run time. It's been established there will be (at least) five seasons, so hopefully, given the popularity, the studio will allow for more episodes in the future.
