1:16 so this is not the remastered version, BUT LOOK AT THE HAIR (with the hair u can usually tell the "quality" of a model XD), back when this was airing ppl (incl me) were like WOAAAHA! WTF =)*/"*?/(%?*!!! 1:56 its adorable QAQ but its green ._. 2:52 now imagine the 4k remastered version!! i was fighting tears watching it on my 4k monitor T^T (yes i cry because of animation ._. itself) 3:07 the way i descibe it, its like juicy water. why i say that, it give me the exact same feeling when looking at the Free! (anime) water animation, it makes me wanna jump in the water, and thirsty at the same time but also soothing and here the animation and models have the same effect 5:00 btw what i like about this start is, its "show dont tell", look at how long it is and pretty much no dialogue, no narrator or anything, it feels more like i can "discover" things myself 8:45 i would also guess around that, thinking this is more grounded, but i noticed a lot of times in donghua the kids look older.. so he could also be like 12-13 XD 9_02 T^T im so weak to GEGE!! GEGE! T^T 9:25 this guy looks eerily similar to a guy i know.. just a bit more asian c_c 10:24 i like the name "FeiYU" :3 12:45 i recommend checking out the behind-the-scenes/making-of (even if its on ur own time) they are very interesting if ur interest in animation (tho my fav. ones are still the ones from Land of Miracles) 15:29 Emperors new Groove style! xD 15:31 ... two idiots, same thought! XD 21:56 nope what ur thinking of are "Cultivation Ranks", this here is a skill/technique, "Forever Spring Skill" (aka Eternal Spring Arts) is essentially the foundational type of skill in any xianxia. it is often translated as "meditating", instead of naming the specific name every time. This usually involves a specific type of breathing, which allows the cultivate to literally cultivate, the foundational style of cultivation: Absorbing QI from the surroundings, refining them and absorbing it as their own. through cycling through this their Qi "container pool" increases etc, until they eventually Rank up more and eventually form a golden core etc. the type of breathing they do is usually based on their root (element/attributes) what is suitable for them and/or the type of arts they wanna learn (offensive, defensive, demonic etc) If you ever wanna learn about this stuff, i recommend you playing the game "the scroll of taiwu" its a super good, super complex game of lit the title of this donghua, u have to manage what skill u learn which are suited for you or will harm you etc.. rly good! and due to the fact that u have to seriously tackle it, over and over, to manage ur character and village and clan and politics and economy etc... u will learn by repeating and figuring things out, its very helpful! 24:40 the choreo in this donghua is rly good imho (like donghua is already a cut above the rest of the world when it comes to fighting choreo imho, but even then this one stands out to me)
