Come on over to the dark side with me and this Darth Vader print!

And, some of you may have noticed I tend to do this, I've also dropped a companion print over on Makerworld: this time of that other Sith Lord, Darth Maul.

Those of you with full commercial licenses can head over to the shop and download Darth Vader for free until March 10, 2025.

In other news... it's Valentines Week! I've got some sweet prints lined up to share with you here and on Makerworld that I love and I hope you will, too!

Also, a heads up -- have you seen BambuLab's new matte colors? They just arrived on my doorstep this morning and I'm pretty excited to use them in some designs. Though, how they came out with yet another shade of gray makes me shake my head and laugh a bit. Personally, I'm looking forward to the new Apple Green, Plum, and Sky Blue colors, mainly because I've been trying and trying and trying to get a Rapunzel print to blend nicely for me and she just won't cooperate. Perhaps these new colors will help. And! There are new shades of brown, which I am so happy about because trying to get decent matches for darker skin tones has been difficult. Again, maybe the new colors will help there too.

For those of you who have tried to use hueforge, you know how blending colors can be tricky. What I'm excited about for these new colors is that they are in the matte line, which means they tend to cover more evenly and blend less than the basic colors do. Basic colors let you layer them to create new colors (primary --> secondary) which can make for some beautiful shades in a hueforge, but that same blending effect can also sometimes make you want to throw your computer through a window when you can't block out the extra colors! Point being, having more matte colors to work in between layers that will block or cover colors more effectively is really exciting for hueforge artists who want to achieve colors without having to go to 8 (or more!) colors -- because while some of you may have a double AMS, and I know that many of you don't, I certainly don't want you grumbling at me when you're running to swap in colors!

I realize that this means when I use them in designs, you'll likely have to buy these new colors to achieve the same look, and that can add up in the expenses for sure. So I'm going to try not to go hog wild with them and use them all at the same time ;)

Have a great week!
