I'm excited to share something I've been working on for a little while and am ready to begin releasing here on Patreon and over at Makerworld: my Disney Princesses collection (Chibi Edition). These new hueforge designs will be released over the next while and I think they should do very well at markets. They feature the Princesses (of course), but there are also a few villains and sidekicks and some of the Princes and men (check out Beast on Makerworld today).

Canadian Gamer and I have been working on Disney and Star Wars designs as we have signed up form some large Disney-related events this year and want to build up our collection with new prints for 2025. If you haven't seen Canadian Gamer's Star Wars Chibi Edition prints, you should head over to his Patreon and Makerworld to check them out because they are so cute and I'm slightly jealous of what he came up with there, haha...

What does this mean here? I'll be mixing in these new Disney prints along with other designs I've been working on. I've been keeping an eye on the design direction poll I put up last week (if you haven't put in your votes yet, please do!), and will be releasing some more prints in the categories with the top votes. I realised I didn't have Disney as an option in the poll the other day and that's just because they aren't an option -- you're getting 'em, haha!

The image you see above is most of the collection, but not ALL of the collection. I couldn't fit them all on the page at the same time, and, well... I just keep creating more of them because they are a fun style to work with. I'd love to know what you think of the Disney Princess Collection. Drop me a comment here or send me a message. Also, if you follow me on my Instagram, I'll be posting a sneak peek reel of all the promo pictures (so far) for this collection.

Your first Patreon exclusive Disney Princess Chibi will be released shortly!

So I've been a bit torn on if I should try and print to sell these types of prints. Since they're I think still considered copyright or licensed material. Have you had any issues selling locally or the show organizers asking you to take down certain things? I definitely think these would sell! But I just worry I'm going to get in trouble at times.

This is not legal advice... That being said, it can be deemed "Fan art" .. if you're selling in person, very rarely will something be said.. if it's online, like Etsy, be careful.

Hi Joe :) No, we've never had any organizers (or customers) ask us not to sell IP image material. In fact, most vendors at the markets we sell at have them on their products (whether they are hand drawn, painted, sublimated, wood burned, etc). I don't think we small market craft vendors worry Disney (or Pokemon, etc) too much about losing out on any profits. Perhaps do a quick internet window shop through the millions of Etsy stores and small businesses online or go visit a craft market this weekend to see what people are selling at their booths, and maybe that may help you decide!

These look great! Always excited to see what you and your not so better half have coming out! lol Don't tell him I said that!

Yeah I've seen plenty of stuff on Etsy that had made me question it and also at all be events I did last year there was definitely IP at a few booths. Like I live in WI, USA and it's Packer territory. So plenty of towels, embroidered stuff, signs, etc. Guess I'm just too cautious. Do it until someone complains and play ignorant :)

oh no.. I got busted.. lol
