Welcome to Monday! I hope you all had great weekends! Canadian Gamer and I were set up at Game Con Canada (Canada's largest gaming convention) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and it was an amazing turnout. Huge crowds (despite some crazy stormy weather all weekend long). We had applied late for the convention and didn't think we would get in, but the organizers contacted us to let us know that a spot had opened up, so we grabbed it. We are so glad we did, because we had such a fun time and an incredibly successful weekend, and we can't wait to do it again next year! While we didn't have our preferred 10'x10' booth size -- only half the size at 5'x10' -- it's incredible how much you can pack into a small space! Our hueforges were a hit! Being that it was Game Con Canada, the biggest sellers were video game related (we were reprinting all our Zelda prints all weekend long!), followed up by Pokemon and Marvel prints, and (of course, being in Edmonton) our exclusive Edmonton Oilers prints (Go Oilers Go!). It's always so nice to watch people browse and pick up your work, marvel at the texture and detail, and then love something enough to buy it and put it up on their own walls. It's also so rewarding as hueforge creators to see reactions and get that feedback in person! So it was a bit crazy over here in the week leading up to the event. Our printers were going nonstop to build up stock. I didn't have as much time to work on designing new hueforges last week, but I did manage to create a new collection to have on hand just for the convention: a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle set of hueforges (pictured below). I'll be releasing these TMNT hueforges here on Patreon over the next while, and there will also be a set of TMNT bookmarks up on Makerworld shortly. The second hueforge collection that I put together is in response to some requests from Patreon members for more nursery and kid decor. My Adorable Animals hueforge collection will be rolling out this week here on Patreon and Makerworld too. This first set of hueforges are jungle and safari themed animals and they are SO ADORBS as my daughter says.As a former Pinterest Mama, I can tell you from my own experience that moms LOVE to decorate their baby and kid rooms in themes. Way back when I was expecting my first, I went all out and did up his room in a jungle and safari theme. I painted his room in complementary colors, sewed up curtains with safari animals on them, found safari themed crib sheets, bought up lots of safari stuffed animals, and hung up pictures on the walls (if I had been able to hueforge back then, these would have gone up there!). Seventeen years later, his room has certainly changed (it's all cars and video games now), but he still has his massive giraffe army of stuffed animals he's collected over the years, and whenever we create a giraffe hueforge, he grabs the first copy off the printer ("I'll take that, thank you!") to keep in his room somewhere. These prints will be releasing over the next while between here and Makerworld, so keep your eyes open! As always, I welcome your feedback and suggestions, so feel free to comment or message me directly.Have a great week!

The booth looks incredible. All those vibrant colors, with so much to look at, must really draw the people in. Those woven baskets for displaying hueforges like a record collection are great, but I have not been able to find those things anywhere! I have printed the flip displays, though, and people seem to really enjoy those. Plus the frames do kind of give things a real finished look.

Thank you! The baskets are from the Dollarama here in Canada. They are really sturdy and the perfect size (slightly larger than 8"x8" and 4" high) which makes it easy to transport the hueforges laid flat inside them with the dividers between them, and then stacking the baskets on top of each other. People really love flipping through them like records!

Red Dragon Inn

Yes! I have seen them in pictures, but haven't been able to find them. We have checked every Dollar Tree in a 50 mile radius (we *really* wanted them) with no luck. Thank you for the scale, though! Maybe we can find a close facsimile online. Heck, at this point I would probably just print something if it looked good and would hold up! But saving money and time on some good looking baskets is a better choice.

How are you hanging the framed ones on the grid? I'd like to do something similar for my first booth.

I noticed the bookmark stands have 4 tiers. Has CG released that anywhere? The only one I've seen from him are the 2 tier ones

That bookmark stand is a design we found on Makerworld and modified. We don't like it as much because the original design's walls are too thin and crack/split after a few uses. Also a bit clunky for travel to markets. CG plans to redesign it with thicker support walls and have the 4 tiers -- he just hasn't gotten to it yet 😅
