His time navigating the Altus Plateau brought some of the worst moments Harry Potter had ever experienced.
Rykard’s men had swept down from the slopes of Mount Gelmir, and burned everything in their path as they marched on the Erdtree. What villages remained outside of Leyndell were put to the torch, their inhabitants butchered, with whomever leftover pushed into service as fodder. And those survivors were the lucky ones.
Him and Millicent often came across flayed corpses hung upside down, mounted on poles or trees. It was a form of psychological warfare, as such macabre displays were likely used to scare off and demoralize followers of the Golden Order.
They - or rather, Harry - had gone out of his way to kill groups of Rykard’s men on several occasions. It was a futile effort, as more men would always be there to replace them, and scouts would always pursue him afterwards. It was only after the fifth time he killed a group of soldiers from Mount Gelmir that he gave up, realizing the futility of such an effort.
Rykard’s army truly numbered in the tens of thousands, and Harry would never be able to make a noticeable dent in such a number. And that wasn’t to mention the other problems him and Millicent ran into, such as their struggle to navigate such an unfamiliar area.
They couldn’t use the main roads, and had to avoid every settlement they found as they were frequently patrolled and occupied by Rykard’s men. And then there was the problem of Grace Sites, as Harry was struggling to find them. Or rather, it was the issue of Grace Sites being located in highly trafficked areas, where any of Rykard’s men could find them. Alongside the highways, inside churches, and in towns were all places were soldiers could be found, meaning he couldn’t use them for rest.
It wasn’t uncommon for him and Millicent to get lost, having to stay off the main thoroughfares to avoid patrols, along with a general lack of proper destination in mind. They were trying to reach the Haligtree beyond the Mountaintops, but the problem was how to go about getting there. Ranni had stated the only way there was through a lift in Leyndell, but that would obviously never work for them.
But they did have one thing going for them, being Millicent’s connection to Malenia. The redhead had a sixth sense that told her they were going the right way, almost like a compass that pointed towards the Haligtree.
At least, that’s what Harry hoped she was leading them to.
And so they slowly and cautiously moved through the Altus Plateau, going unnoticed as they passed by thousands of soldiers and the destruction that they wrought. It took more than two weeks of this as they slept on hard ground without a fire until they finally reached a point where they could literally go no further.
The Altus Plateau simply ended. A steep cliff drop that descended miles into a barren, rocky wasteland. It was a plateau after all, meaning it had to end somewhere.
Across, he could distantly make out snowy mountains, so distant that it felt like standing in southern England and staring across the channel and somehow being able to see the Swiss Alps. The problem was how to get there, being impossible to travel by foot.
A solution came to mind then. One so simple that he cursed himself for not thinking of it earlier.
His broom. He could use his firebolt to fly them the rest of the way. I just need to use a Site of Grace to get back to Hogwarts and get it.
/////
They found the Grace Site in a village was already plundered and desecrated by Rykard’s men. Its dead occupants seemed to mostly be women, wearing dresses and gowns that went with braided hair. Many of them were burnt and impaled by the attackers, although Harry had no idea if the skinned faces they wore were done by them too. Better off not knowing.
The village resided on a hill, and it was at the top of that hill that they found the Site of Grace. Windmills surrounded them, although several had been set of fire, creating an atmosphere that felt almost tranquil.
“Come, we’ll make this quick.” He told Millicent as he headed over to the Grace Site, holding out his hand for her to take. They could teleport back to the Chamber, get his broom, and then pop back over to the village.
“No, you go on ahead, I need to stand guard.” Millicent shook her head, unsheathing her sword. “We could come back and immediately be ambushed.”
That is true. A glance around showed they were alone, but it was entirely possible someone was lurking nearby. I’ll make this quick.
His body dissipated into blue motes of light as he concentrated on the Chamber of Secrets, appearing back in the dark stone cavern that Salazar Slytherin had built.
“Dobby!”
The House-elf popped into existence. “Great Harry Pott-”
“Dobby, I need you to get me my firebolt immediately.” He spoke quickly, cutting the elf off.
Millicent was waiting.
His urgency must have showed, because Dobby hastily popped away and appeared a few seconds later with his broom in his tiny hands. The sight of the small elf handling the large broomstick looked comical, but Harry had no time to laugh as he quickly took the broom.
“Thanks, Dobby.” He was already heading back to the Site of Grace.
“Wait, Great Harry Potter Sir!”
“What is it?”
“Missus Greeney and Great Miss Grangey have asked after Harry Potter Sir!”
Daphne and Hermione have asked about me? He supposed it wasn’t unexpected, as both girls knew of his connection to the House-elf. “Tell them I’ll be back within the week.”
Those were the only words he had to spare, as he could hardly go into specifics.
Back through the Site of Grace, and the first thing to greet his senses was the clash of steel.
“Harry!” Millicent called out to him, dancing and striking against an opponent.
The man she was fighting was wickedly tall and monstrous, wearing what looked to be flayed skin for clothes and wielding a terrifying twisted blade. He was quick and his reach was long, making it hard for the smaller redhead to get close and get a clean hit.
Harry charged forwards with his wand, a Carian Greatsword igniting as he swung the conjured blue sword downwards. Millicent backed off, and the tall man eyed him before he twisted in place, his body elongating and becoming taller to avoid his strike like a serpent.
Suddenly, black flame erupted from the man’s hand, and he proceeded to fling it at Harry.
“Protego!”
The glintstone blade dissipated and a clear shield took its place, yet the black fire went through his shield like it wasn’t even there. What?!
He was moving out of the way, but not fast enough, when a kick to his side put him clear out of the flame’s path. Millicent was there, easily avoiding the flame before her blade clashed against that of the flayed man’s.
“We need to get out of here!” She called out.
Harry nodded in agreement, and used his gravity magic to uproot the land between himself and their attacker. His redhead companion moved to his side as rock spikes erupted to protect them, giving the two enough time to flee.
There was no point in sitting around and waiting for more enemies to show themselves, as they couldn’t get distracted now that he had his broom. This isn’t our fight.
“Quick, get on!”
He looked over to see Millicent eyeing him strangely, staring at the spot where he wanted her to sit. It was highly compromising, putting her right in front of him where his arms would wrap around her and her bum would slide right into his crotch. There was no doubt that his cock would be smudged right between her cheeks for most of the ride.
But it couldn’t be helped. The only solution was the broom, unless they wanted to go all the way back to Caria Manor and hide there forever.
She soon slipped onto the broom, as he launched them both upwards into the air.

The first sensation she felt was numbness. Not the blistering of scars or that of old wounds, nor the heat that came with the rot that defiled her body. Instead it was the numbness of limbs she felt, followed by the tendrils of nerves slowly coming back to life.
The wooden chair she sat upon was hard. Clearly she had been sitting upon it for some time, and stiff joints would be a problem for the foreseeable future.
Oddly, as her senses returned, the one she abhorred the most proved elusive. The heat of the scarlet rot was nowhere to be found, only the marks and remnants it had wrought upon her body.
She pulled and scratched, rubbed the sores that had covered her form for centuries. The rot released its grip, retreated, and fell with each motion. She pulled it from her skin, from her limbs, from her face.
Golden irises opened to see a blurry world of thick roots, and she rubbed her eyes to get the dust and rot away.
How long had she lain like this? Perhaps years, maybe even decades. The battle against the Starscourge was long ago, she knew this, yet it had been one of her last coherent recollections. The last moments before she had gone under and purged the rot from her very being, committing an atrocity that she knew not.
But there had been more since then. A partial vision of that boy with the mesmerizing green eyes. The one she had spoken with on the astral plane, and forewarned of his impending arrival with her smaller kin.
“Guards, attend to me.”
It took a long time until one of her Cleanrot Knights appeared, still armored in resplendent unalloyed gold as it knelt low before her. Her vision might be lacking, but she could see his shaking limbs through the blurriness, no doubt caused by her unexpected awakening.
It wasn’t her companion, Finlay, that attended to her, but rather Seraphel. He was one of the higher ranking members of her order left behind to guard the Haligtree, as most who followed her march south were sunk into the Caelid plains. “My Princess…”
“Muster the army.” She spoke softly, silently hoping her strength would return faster than this. “And ready a small guard for my swift departure.”
That Tarnished with the green eyes was coming, and Malenia would be there to meet him.

Harry realized several hours into their flight that he had not thought this through.
Frost crawled up his arms, snow covering his hair, and he could only see so far in this dense snowstorm. It seemed that the northern regions of the Lands Between were untraveled for a reason, as there was nothing up here but raging snowfall and cold.
The Impervius Charm only worked so well in weather like this. As while it kept the frost off his glasses, it did little to stop the snow from accumulating on clothing. Of course, he tried warming charms, but those only lasted so long, and were practically useless when flying so fast against freezing winds.
It turned out that flying straight up into a blizzard was a bad idea.
Would there even be a Grace Site up here? For as much as he knew, this part of the Lands Between was unmapped, and might even be untouched by the Erdtree’s roots. Nothing but the harshest life could live in this part of the world, those who truly wished to remain hidden and undisturbed.
Fields of snow and jagged rocks seemed endless, with the light of the Erdtree barely visible through the storm. And while it might’ve been a guess, Harry could tell that the falling snow wouldn’t be stopping anytime soon.
It reminded him of a documentary on Antarctica he had watched on television through one of the holes in his cupboard door at Privet Drive. A desolate landscape where the snow never melted because of the low temperature, leaving the continent perpetually covered in white.
It was then that he spotted it, a dark hole against the rocky, snow-covered terrain. It stuck out against a cliff face, a black dot against darker gray. A cave.
A twist of the broom had Millicent pushing harder against his form, as he descended downwards and towards the cave. A cursory look showed it to be empty, as he flew in before landing on the rocky ground.
Immediately, he felt his limbs wobble, and Millicent wasn’t much better as she swayed in place, trying to regain her balance. Both of them were cold, sore from the wooden broom, and tired beyond imagining.
“Are you alright?” Harry asked as he went about the process of starting a fire, using his wand to quicken the process.
“Y-Yeah.” Millicent’s arms were folded as she shivered, her clothes soaked.
“We both need to change.” He said as he unclipped his armor, dressing down to reveal his torso. “You’ll get sick if you don’t.”
She nodded, and Harry turned to go somewhere else to give her privacy, but Millicent stopped him. “Wait, don’t go.”
“What is it?” He could hear her moving behind him, as she didn’t answer for several moments.
“Turn around.” Something in her voice was off, and he found himself nonetheless obeying.
The sight that greeted him left Harry breathless. She was beautiful.
Her top was discarded, and she was in the process of removing her trousers when he turned. Her skin was less amber and more pale from the cold. Unique golden irises framed by red hair looked at him, her face having a dusting of freckles. Beneath that was the body of a dancer and a warrior, smooth and sculpted, with handful-sized breasts and clearly defined abs on her abdomen. Her golden prosthetic arm was still attached, held in place with leather, and he couldn’t help but note how well it fitted her form.
Beneath that were her child-bearing hips, wide and unique. And below even that were thick, powerful thighs that only a female warrior could possess.
“Don’t look away.” Millicent said quietly.
He barely managed to regain the use of his vocal chords. “Wouldn’t dream of it.”
They approached each other slowly, coming within breathing distance before their lips gently met. It was just the two of them, alone in this cave at the edge of the world, with only each other’s warmth for company. It almost seemed unavoidable that this would be the outcome.
Yet their movements remained gentle all the while, rather than the rough lovemaking he was used to. She landed in his lap, normal hand on his right shoulder, golden hand on his left, and yet the unalloyed gold was warm.
His cock was hard and erect, having been teased by their torturous broom ride for hours. It was desperate for release, and Harry was even more desperate to feel the oncoming warmth that came with what they were about to do.
He so desperately wanted to claim Millicent, to push his massive manhood inside her and spill his seed. He wanted her to let go, to cry his name in pleasure, and seal the bond they had been building for months.
Can I get scarlet rot from sex? He barely had a moment to process the horrifying question. Fuck it.
His trousers were still on, and he struggled to get them off while Millicent sat directly on his lap.
“H-Harry…” She breathed his name as if she was finally at peace with the world, cheeks flushed and gaze admiring. There was no way he could possibly resist such a beautiful maiden, one of the few people he trusted so deeply. That was when his hands went still, leaving him in only his undergarments.
No. Clarity settled in, making him think clearly for but a moment. We’re not doing this.
He moved away, making Millicent panic in the process.
“H-Harry? Wait, are you…” She seemed to shrink into herself. “I-Is it because of the rot?”
“We’re not doing this here.” His words made her wince, but he wasn’t going to have his first time with Millicent be in some cave. She deserved better than that. “And no, I could care less about the rot.”
“Then what are you…” She trailed off, watching him lower himself between her legs.
His mouth was dangerously close to her entrance then, and she suddenly understood what he was doing. If anything, her face became even more red, shocked by the lewdness.
“Just relax, enjoy yourself. I want to make you feel good.”
He delved between her legs then, pushing apart her untouched labia lips. She was tight and wet, and it felt like she was trying to drown him in her own arousal.
“H-Harry!” She said his name loudly, and a glance upwards showed her eyes rolling back in pleasure. It didn’t take much to make her feel ecstasy, something the constant stream of feminine fluids proved.
His tongue only went deeper, tasting inside her and funneling her wetness straight into his mouth. He lapped it up, each movement causing her to tense and moan.
“Oh! H-Harry. Harry!” His name left her lips in a chant as her arms tried to grip the surrounding rocks for leverage, golden prosthetic scraping against the cave wall.
It was then he used his trump card, his tongue vibrating with the use of parseltongue and overstimulating her core.
HISSSSSS
“AHH! HAARRRRYY!” She squealed as her whole body shook.
Her juices squirted out of her cunt, hosing down his mouth as he pulled back in surprise. Feminine arousal shot straight over his head and across to the other wall of the cave, splattering onto it. Marika’s tits she can squirt…
She had gone off like a firehose, squirting hard unlike anything he had seen before. That was when she fell against him, her beautiful breasts pressing against his bare chest. They soon fell asleep next to the crackling fire in that cave, too exhausted to go on.
/////
The fire no longer crackled when he awoke, as only the blowing winds of the blizzard outside the cave could be heard clearly. Harry slowly got up, a glance to the side showing that Millicent was still sleeping soundly.
Something roared distantly in the deep of the cave then. It was a noise that made his arm hairs raise on end, belonging to a creature that sounded entirely unnatural. Every single one of his instincts screamed at him, telling him to grab Millicent and run.
But rather than listen, Harry made his way deeper into the cave. The two of them had only camped a few feet away from the entrance, and hadn’t explored its depths. Perhaps that was an unwise decision, but Harry knew the two of them wouldn’t be staying in this cave forever.
The rocky tunnel twisted and turned, followed by a slight drop. He moved past it all, searching for the source of the noise from earlier until the tunnel expanded outwards and he was met by a wall of fog. His wand found itself into his hand as he moved through the fog, until he finally exited it and found himself in an immense cavern.
The sight that greeted him took his breath away. It was a skeletal creature that resided in that caver, its shape closest akin to a gigantic scorpion, but Harry truly had no idea how to put what he saw into words. It was a nightmare, something from the void that should never be allowed to exist, and it had been waiting for his arrival.
