Common law marriage does exist in England, but it just a social convention and not legal. So Pat and Puz could tell them "oh, let's go see your in-laws", but I don't think that would last very long.

In case this is confusing for some... the question is NOT about Puz and Pat marrying each other. It's pointing out that if Puz marries Di, and Pat marries Night, then Di and Night become in-laws, and that thought revolts them.

I wonder, even if they did become related, they would still try to show each other up in some ways. Maybe a who can pleasure the other better with there tongues? I think both Puzzle and Patrick have a very flexible and Veeeerrrry long tongue XD.
