Ahhh, peer pressure! Remember how she was comparing herself to everyone at the very beginning of the story? Yeah. I weave a long web lol

Haha, Puzzle in a world of her own there :P

Sprinkles

Puzzle looking like she on something good

Stoker Bramwell

"And speaking of doing things my own way, phew, let me tell you what we did NEXT...!"

Hi-Brew

Puzzle's reaction is the best one here!

Ryo

This is lovely work, can’t wait to see where you go with this. I’m a sucker for budding romance.

Cobalt Phoenix 81

You know, I can't tell if Ruby is trying to be supportive in the last panel, or if she is just getting ready to knife someone in the back.

Zhon Lord

What's this? Adults admitting mistakes and misunderstandings like rational people?! I'll ask again, WHAT BLACK MAGIC IS THIS?!?!

Regulos14

Just plain love Puzzle in this page. XD

Me: So Rory and Dynamite had conflated views of each other based on their appearances and occupations, and this is related to Dynamite rushing to date Rory despite not really knowing him very well. This is because Dynamite feels anxiety and peer pressure to be like her co-workers/friends because they're all in long term relationships, which is something I hinted at all the way back to page 3 of the comic. Comments: Oh Puzzle. Sometimes I REALLY resent that character.

SketchyBug

I really like the lighting in the Safari scenes during this part. They give a nice glow to the characters’ lighter features. The last panels do make Glitter’s remark about them being a family in an earlier ask page really ring true. Hell, it got Night and Diamond to indirectly agree on something.

ghostbane

As dumb as it sounds I appreciate dynamites depiction with the pressure from work and folks that are your family essentially making you feel you have to get into a relationship right away well into your twenties because your body is only getting older and it'll get harder. Heck her jumping into Rory so readily kind of cements what that pressure does to us. That the first bit of comfort you get you want to immediately dig your claws into to relieve that pressure and feel normal. So to have that apology given , that feels like a weight off the readers shoulders to anyone that needed to hear that

Hey man it is really good story telling had to go all the way back to the beginning to catch that one

Pokitlint

Damn actually going through and reading the hole comic at once there’s a lot of little subtlety’s that make a lot more sense now. Like Rory ending their date plan with a professional handshake and other little stuff like that

WolfPsalm

Tracy and Rory are so cute here! That's all probably pretty relatable for a lot of people, feeling forced about relationships and being single I'm sure

1. Twilight, read Kad's entire comment again. He just explained why. 2. The peer pressure to be like her coworkers and friends is probably also a severe contributor to her general-interaction anxiety, the daily "Oh you like that particular band?" conversation that has nothing to do with relationships. It'll be interesting to see whether Dynamite can be more relaxed in public after this when all is said and done.

Kadath

Yeah, comparing herself to others and wanting to be on their level definitely causes her more stress on top of her already-bad social anxiety.

Yup, I've been dropping hints about the larger message the whole time X3 It's why I spoke up when people were harassing me about Dynamite getting deflowered a few pages ago, trying to remind them there was a bigger picture.

Cultural pressure, work pressure, friend pressure, Vera being that familial type of pressure... Dyna probably feels like she's trying to appease everyone else instead of herself XD

Collin Heiberger

Where's the "its enough to make a grown man cry" meme when you need it....

Pokitlint

I feel a bit silly because I just pit more time and effort into analyzing a furry comic with tiddies than I’ve ever put into analyzing a mandatory reading book from school

Thisguy

Love this. Tracey was probably also very forward because Rory put her at ease.

Xaq

Oops.

Clearly this means they need to make the curriculum more 'interesting' :P

I gotta second Ghosty here: The pressure element and how much it hits close to home and how it feels to be in this situation makes it painfully relatable but also gives a very sweet ad understanding resolution to everything which I love quite a bit. This is great and both relatable and comforting to see unfold. This comic's been great, Kad, and this spoke volumes. ;v;
