I just realized that they're in the north and it's super cold up there, so that card must be hella cold on her too. Not sure if it was intentional, but that extra layer of sensory play really adds to the scene. Love it.

I wonder what the tech level in Kadath's world is with respect to implanted electronics - a near field read coil + a Bluetooth module and that might just work. Or, I suppose, a very specialized "toy"...

I imagine they're rather parallel to our tech. I keep it 'relatable' by focusing on current trends (so like, modern game consoles, etc.), but I do imagine they're a bit divergent in where they focused their tech in a few places.
