Hey gang, it's been a while, hasn't it?   Sorry I've been so quiet recently, but unfortunately the depression that I posted about before Christmas is still doing a fine job of kicking me in the gonads and I haven't been able to do any writing at all!   The chapter of Lost Time I posted this evening is one that I had finished a while ago and decided to post it so you would have something to read.

I'm still trying to write, so hopefully there will be new stories in the not too distant future.  I really appreciate that you've hung in there with me as I work this out.

Depression nearly caused me to commit suicide 6 months ago. I know how bad it can be. In the end, your health will always be the most important thing. Do whatever you must, and now that if/when you're ready to return, you're readers will be waiting. :)

I agree with the above: take whatever time you need to get better so that you can return to writing such great stories - in particular, I can't wait for the next chapter of BTVS: "The Return", and would love to see the next adventure of "Darla's Childe" or "It Started in Oxnard" or "Comfort in the Arms of Strangers".

I have struggled with depression for more than a decade and understand very well that it makes everything difficult if not impossible. Take all the time you need. You may not want any advice or feel the need for it now but I will still provide what little I can from my own experience. Don't stop. Even when things were at their worst for me, stopping never helped me. It only allowed me to wallow in the place I did not want to be. Get well, I will be waiting when you do.
