Back From the VA! (Patreon)

Made it to the VA Hospital this morning, spoke to a staff psychiatrist who got me 30 days supply of anti-depressant, I start taking them tomorrow morning.   So I'm hoping they start working soon so I can start writing again.

They also got me a prescription for my blood pressure, so I'm a happy camper

Thanks for hanging in there with me, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel

I am happy for you finally getting the help you need so that you can be you again. Just know that anti-depressants take a while to build up in your system. About two weeks to a month.

Thanks John, and I was aware of the time delay, the doctor said it could take between 3 and 4 weeks to really see a difference. But knowing that I'll be seeing a light at the end of the tunnel and it isn't a 500 pound gorilla with a flashlight definitely helps! *GRIN*

Very good to hear. For once the light at the end of the tunnel is the outside rather than an oncoming fast freight. Again, very glad to hear that you are now getting the help you need.
