OT: Need Help getting books to show up in Kindle for PC (Patreon)

I downloaded a set of books in PDF format, and following instructions I found on line, I used Calibre to convert them to Mobi format, and I copied them to the folder on my computer that contained my Kindle content, but the books aren't appearing in the Kindle reader for my PC.

Does anybody have any thoughts or suggestions on how to get the books to show up?

You would've been better to leave the books as PDF's, Kindle can import those, I don't know about the mobi format.

That's what I ended up doing. After spending 90+ minutes in chat with Amazon, they tell me that the books won't transfer to my PC, but they are on my phone. Doesn't make sense, but I transferred the books (Books 1-32 of the Gor Series) in PDF to my Kindle for PC.

I tried that, unfortunately it only sent the books to my iPhone, and there is no way to send them to the app on my PC. Oh well! Thanks anyway

Glad you got it sorted. You will enjoy the Gor books, they get a bit samey at times but are still an enjoyable read.

Yeah, my experience is that Send-to-kindle doesn't work for the Windows Kindle app. It's been something I've tried myself multiple different times.
