I thought a music buff might recognize Alanis Morissette as God.

And now you need to watch the rest of the Jay and Silent Bob containing movies. Lol

It was really interesting to see someone watch this movie without any prior awareness of it or Kevin Smith's other "Askewniverse" movies. Good to see it works pretty well on its own. If you're interested, the whole "series" goes like this: CLERKS (1994) MALLRATS (1995) CHASING AMY (1997) DOGMA (1999) JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK (2001) CLERKS II (2006) JAY AND SILENT BOB REBOOT (2019) CLERKS III (2022) The first four are generally standalone stories with little moments here and there to acknowledge that they all take place in the same "universe" (plus Jay and Silent Bob show up in all of them), and then "Strike Back" was meant to be the last one. But I guess Smith had more to say. (I actually have never seen the last two, but I've heard they're not that great).
