Now I remember why I liked this show so much. There's a reason a lot of us binged this one when it first came out. Such a great mystery. I'm so happy the you're into it, Mary. It's like seeing it for the first time again. Can't wait for more!

My parents were pretty sex positive so I find it completely alien to think of parents making a big deal about their 17 year old sleeping with another 17 year old high school student.

The 80s were my 10-20 decade. It was the time I would have been the age of the kids in the show and this show is the perfect combination of television and pop culture from that era and modern times. The opening title splash is very much modeled after the Hardy Boys Nancy Drew Mysteries, an old TV show that was on in the late seventies (77-79), and the main font for the chapters and scene locations is pretty much identical to the old Choose Your Own Adventure books from the 70s and 80s. The mix of modern CGI and storytelling elements enhance it to no end. This is hands down one of the best shows to have come out of a production company in the modern era.
