The gentleman at Kavanagh's arguing about his bar tab is the late great Richard Belzer, credited as "John Munch". Detective Munch served Baltimore in "Homicide: Life on the Street" before apparently moving to New York to work in the Special Victims Unit- putting Law & Order, The Wire, and Homicide all in the same universe.
