It's a VERY popular song from the 80s by Metallica called Master of Puppets. It's a great song, one of the first I played on guitar. The way Max seems to be trapped in her mind actually makes me wonder if her condition in Stranger Things was inspired by another Metallica song called "One," where a soldier is essentially "trapped" inside his own body - fully aware on the inside but unable to move, talk or interact with the outside world. I mean it could also be similar to "locked in syndrome." Can't wait for season 5.
