I agree that seasons 1 and 2 are the ones worth watching. Don't know if you already watched the season 2 finale, so I won't say anything, but it's a good point to stop.

I agree. The quality falls hard after season 2. Mary is right to stop then.

If you can handle the fact that Westworld is science fiction show not a western, I'd suggest that maybe you should decide for yourself if you want to watch more at the end of the season. I'd say at least give s3 a try if you like where the season ends and nobody would blame you if you just decided that you didn't like it, but to just abandon the show on the basis of people who are, y'know, wrong.. You could make an argument it's quite a different show in s3, but it isn't "worse", just different; it also became incredibly expensive to make after this season for.. reasons.. which is partially why it got cancelled. Some of the best episodes of the whole series are in s3 imo, though.

I really don't agree that people don't like the later seasons because they aren't westerns anymore... The way the sci-fi concepts were handled just wasn't as interesting in the later seasons.

I actually love seasons 1 & 3 the most of the show. Whenever I recommend the show to others, I just tell people to watch the first season as a mini series, and to watch the other seasons if they want more.
