What an interesting phase we are in! He now has that gab year, and I'm curious to discover how he's going to fill that. Also Nacho is going to get in sooo much trouble with how he seems to question Don Hector. Like I get his reasoning, but booooy I feel like he wants to play big people's chess.

About Chuch -sigh- I would hope that he would let himself get help. But I do fear that the disdain he has for his brother runs so much deeper than the fact that his divorce triggered the electricity allergy. Because those feelings we already saw unfold before his allergy. Hmm, to be continued I guess! :)

It’s impressive how the writing and acting make Chuck such a hated villain even though the viewers know that his belief that Jimmy shouldn’t be a lawyer is 100% correct.

Don Mayhem

You made episode 5 very exciting Mary with your knowledge of law. It was really entertaining. I remember seeing a video on Youtube of a lawyer reacting to episode 5 and 98% of what happened was accurate according to the lawyer. Domingo/Crazy 8 was very lucky all he got was a beat down. If it was Tuco, he be in the ICU at the hospital or dead. I think Domingo was also taking advantage of Nacho's kindness because he wouldn't have done this with Tuco still around. Tuco and Hector are Cartel. It did pissed me off a little when Hector tells Nacho "you teach your father" and I was like "fucker I will fucken kill you myself, Hector. You don't tell me to teach my parent." But we all know what is coming for him lol. I love how we know how it all ends for them, but we're intrigued on what happens next. we find out more about their story. Someone said that this is their Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad was Walter White's story. El Camino was Jesse Pinkman's final story and Better Call Saul is Jimmy Mcgill's Breaking Bad, Mike's Breaking Bad, Gustavo Fring's Breaking Bad, and other character's story. My mom said Mike should have lived. He should have got away like Jesse did. Mike the wise man.

Armchair Wizard

The issue with Chuck though is that he constantly brought Jimmy down which contributed to him being more and more of a criminal. Chuck's own actor thinks Chuck is a piece of shit. Jimmy deserves to be held accountable for what he did as Saul, don't get me wrong, but Chuck didn't give Jimmy the support he should have. It seems as though multiple times throughout their lives he had the chance to help Jimmy be better but chose not to. Instead he went the punitive, "once a criminal always a criminal" route. Which I think is both reductive and ignorant. In other words, good writing often results in situations that are not black or white. Both things can be true, namely, that Jimmy deserves accountability and Justice for his role as Saul, AND that Chuck was an asshole and a terrible brother who should have supported Jimmy more. We will NEVER know how bad Jimmy would have been if given a real shot at being a lawyer without Chuck's constant interference.
