As someone who loves videogames and livestreams (and Ryan Reynolds lol), this movie was so much fun! I anticipated enjoying this one, but watching it was even better! :) I loved the humour, I loved the references (tell me which ones I missed!).

Are there similar movies out there that you'd like me to watch? I'm having a lot of fun recording some funny movies lately!

This is such a fun movie, they could use the marvel and starwars stuff because disney is involved with both and also published this movie. The weapon u didnt recognize at the end in the scene with "DUDE" was the gravity gun, its an iconic weaopon/tool from the half-life series, a series which is the base of huge games like counter stirke and pretty much the starting point of Steam and Valve. Sadly alot of people dont recognize it because HL is so old, but I loved to see it mixed with more main stream stuff because the games it comes from had such huge influence on the gaming world to day. Great reaction as always!

A great follow up to this would be Wreck It Ralph for the “video game characters being alive” aspect. And another movie that is surprisingly similar is the Barbie movie believe it or not haha. Anyway this was a first watch for me and it was a lot of fun and more deep than I expected. Thanks Mary!

One movie that I think you would enjoy if you want a good contemporary comedy is Game Night (2018).
