This show just FLEW by (probably has something to do with the fact that I've binged this season :D).  I definitely will watch this further! Just as I've done with Better Call Saul, I'll post a movie next week as a patreon exclusive, but the week after we'll continue with The Wire Season 2! :)

Lots of people have probably warned you; season 2 adds a LOT of new faces and new situations. It startled people when it aired, and some people still don't like it. I personally think it's a brilliant season; not as good as season 4, but still excellent, and features some of the best acting in the show, IMHO. Anyway, I am so happy you're enjoying it; it's a very deep show, and not for everyone, but you have grabbed onto the themes quickly. A lot of people will end Season 1 hating Poot and Bodie. I would just note that while Wallace was a kid... so were they. They may have performed hard better, but Bodie was shaking like a leaf in that room with Wallace, despite all his talk. Kids being chewed up by the system.

I don't know if you've started watching season 2 yet, so I'm biting my tongue to avoid any actual spoilers. But holy crap, did you pick a crazy time to start watching S2 of The Wire. (This isn't me saying "hey where's the react to S2 hurr durr", it's just that... well, I can't say because spoilers. When you watch the first couple episodes it'll make sense...)
