Everybody has their themes that they back to again and again, and I guess for me it's Crowley with weird stuff coming out of his head holes. No special meaning, I just desperately love the imagery.

A friend has been trying to convince me that it's good and helpful to other artists to share WIPs, especially the uglier, messier stuff, the unbaked batter. I know I love seeing that from other artists, but it fills me with anxiety to show others the mess. It's all about control. My life has become a hunt for control. But you notice how often I draw Crowley in uncontrolled chaos, monstrous things crawling out, hellfire leaking smoke from all the cracks. So maybe there is some special meaning. It's out of my control.
